Today @usemonk is sharing the definitive AR guide. Written for CFOs evaluating build vs. buy, RevOps leaders tired of finance escalations, and AR teams stuck running the same manual playbook on a new tool. Most AR content is about collections tactics: send reminders, escalate faster, call more. What no one talks about is that high DSO is rarely a pure collections problem. It's an infrastructure problem that starts the moment a contract is signed. At @usemonk we spent the past year working with finance teams across SaaS, services, and manufacturing businesses of all sizes. The same failure points keep showing up: (1) every late payment and customer are treated the same, (2) recurring exceptions handled manually, (3) dunning that fires on a schedule instead of responding to context, and (4) cash application that lags close by days. took a while to make this happen, but is 100% worth it because Nurah will raise our bar. Nurah joins @usemonk from @jpmorgan to take on ops. Nurah is a perpetual learner. She transferred from Rutgers to @georgetown in search for more. At @georgetown Nurah was a baker scholar and double majored in philosophy/econ. In her first 2 weeks Nurah has already: - improved our onboarding process - shipped 3 growth marketing experiments - became a trusted advisor to our customers and a thought partner in how we are building the business It's hard to imagine our team without Nurah despite the fact that it's only been 2 weeks.

Most billing tools say they integrate with @salesforce. They mean they read a few standard fields. And it's implied that the integration is brittle. Today @usemonk is launching our native integration with @salesforce We do a # of things differently: 1/ when a deal closes, @usemonk picks it up in real time (no batch sync). We use frontier models to read the full opportunity (standard fields, custom fields, attachments, everything) and create a billing schedule. 2/ we deploy a native managed package. This is not a connector and not a polling system. Real-time webhooks, access to your SFDC data model, and sandbox support are part of it. 3/ @usemonk supports every permutation of a B2B SaaS commercial term. If your sales team can sell it - we can bill for it 4/ Significant guardrails are built in (via our system and via flagging for your review) to ensure that everything is correct. If your team spends time setting up billing after the deal closes - we'd love to help.
