Playing on FACEIT since 2015. Never banned. Never even warned. Got a 7-day ban for saying: “i’m always losing with girls” “it’s not game for you i believe” and one poorly worded comment about “FACEIT for girls”. No slurs. No threats. No vulgar insults. No repeated harassment. I get that the wording was bad, but going straight to a 7-day ban with no warning after years on the platform feels extremely disproportionate. Hi, I’m writing this because i really don’t know what else i can do anymore i got banned on faceit for 365 days and yeah, i know i messed up. i’m not gonna sit here and act like i was perfect or like i never said anything stupid, because i did. i got tilted, i typed dumb stuff, i should’ve just muted and played the game. that’s on me but at the same time, a full 365 day ban just feels insanely bad to me for what actually happened faceit was literally the main thing i was grinding. i was streaming it, making content from it, trying to push elo towards 3k, trying to build something around cs and my whole goal was to keep improving and maybe hit something big with it - so getting banned for a whole year basically kills everything i was working on and the worst part is that i really tried to fix it. i didn’t just get banned and instantly go “unban me i did nothing wrong”. i actually tried to take responsibility. i apologized. i tried to find some way to contact the person involved and explain myself properly, because i genuinely didn’t want it to end like this i even did it on stream with my viewers because i was honestly desperate at this point. we were trying to find any way to get contact, comment somewhere, reach someone, just anything so my case could maybe be looked at again. not to harass anyone, not to send hate, not to make drama, just because i honestly didn’t know what else to do i know maybe from the outside it can look dumb or too much, but for me it just shows how much i actually care about this. i wouldn’t be doing all that if i didn’t care i apologized to him, i tried to reach out, i tried to explain, and i’m still here saying that i know i made a mistake i’m not even asking for faceit to act like nothing happened. i understand there has to be some punishment. i understand i crossed the line and i should learn from it but 365 days feels like my whole year of grinding, streaming and creating content is just gone even if the ban can’t be fully removed, i would honestly be grateful for any reduction, even to 6 months. i’m not asking for special treatment, i’m asking for one chance to prove that i can actually change and control myself better in games I took a lesson from this ban i know people will say “you got banned, deal with it” and yeah, fair enough. but i still think there is a difference between someone who doesn’t care at all and someone who is actually trying to apologize, fix the situation and do better. @FACEIT @FACEIT_Darwin please review my case one more time i’m sorry for what happened, i understand i messed up, but i really feel like 365 days is too much and i’d appreciate even a reduction instead of losing the whole year The screen ends, because he blocked me so i couldn't explain what happened and what im sorry for - 2 days after ban i sent him these messages.
