Tripartite kicked-off a workshop in Malaysia, funded by @EU_FPI to map the surveillance of antimicrobial resistance and use (AMR/AMU) in different sectors. This workshop helped to develop a roadmap to strengthen One Health AMR/AMU integrated surveillance system in the country.

AMR is a threat to animal & human health. Overusing antibiotics in farming creates drug-resistant bacteria in food, water & the environment, making infections harder to treat. 🇲🇾 is taking steps by banning high-risk antibiotics in livestock & promoting responsible use.
