I heard someone say "Clee" when they were referring to a "CLI/See Elle Eye" today. I've also heard "Cly" before. Have I been wrong this whole time? I've always said the letters C, L, I haha.

@7NewsAustralia a dead pope is not a lead story for the middle of an election. Fucking sick of this never ending noise. Stop it and start showing news that is relevant to everyone, not a religious minority.

This year I went from smoking rarely at social events to up to a pack a day. Three days in cold turkey and I'm reminded I'm very lucky to have a brain that just doesn't do withdrawl. But also, it's 50 bucks a pack and I feel like that's a working class tax.

@PUBG So obviously there's still money to be made in SA but not in OCE.

Hello players, As many of you are already aware, the recent Update 32.1 included a merge of certain regions. We sincerely apologize for the high ping issues that players in some regions have experienced since the merge, which have negatively impacted your gameplay. Since the update, we have been actively monitoring the situation and reviewing your feedback. Read more on how we plan to address this issue 👉 pubg.com/news/7865

@OsrsAus @PUBG But at the end of the day OCE doesn't waste as much money on cosmetics, which is where the money is.

Well done @PUBG . Region merge has wrecked the OCE and the South American communities. Games unplayable, with massive advantages to NA or SEA based players. Just not worth playing any more....

@ANZ_AU Hi ANZ. Thanks for your email today. Since you're reducing the interest free period on my credit card by 20%, are you also reducing the annual fee by 20%? That seems fair, doesn't it? @acccgovau

@ajobbins @samjarman @BNZ Yeah, +1 for Macquarie. Leaving St George / Westpac 'cos their internet banking experience is terrible. Lipstick on a pig / web 2.0 on a Babbage engine.

@samjarman @BNZ I still have accounts I use at BNZ but my primary banking here is CBA. I’ll take CBA internet banking/apps over BNZ any day. Macquarie also better

I did a small bit of banking in my old @BNZ account today and OH MY GOD it is still so much better than any of the banks I use in Australia. I might be bias as an ex-bnzer but the internet banking is just slick, man.

🚨Harvard surveyed 150 misinformation experts and determined they "strongly leaned toward the left of the political spectrum." Less than 5% identified as "slightly right." Do you recall when the terms misinformation and disinformation were introduced into public discourse? This introduction coincides with the government's efforts to suppress populism and domestic dissent, particularly following Brexit and the election of Donald Trump. The government's role in censoring American citizens is meticulously detailed in a thought-provoking conversation released yesterday between @TuckerCarlson and @MikeBenzCyber, accessible here: x.com/tuckercarlson/… The terms misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation were popularized as justifications for government actions aimed at censoring criticism directed towards institutions such as NATO, the EU, and the Pentagon. The advent of the internet and the promotion of free speech online played a crucial role in the rise of independent journalism, the erosion of trust in institutions and corporate media, the Brexit movement, and the election of Trump. In response to these developments, Western governments and their institutions established an entire industry focused on combating misinformation and disinformation, effectively serving as a mechanism to censor online speech. @MikeBenzCyber characterizes this phenomenon as akin to military rule, asserting, "It's the inversion of democracy." The government directed its psychological tools, previously employed abroad to overthrow foreign governments, inward against its own citizens, resulting in COVID-19 and the 2020 election being the most censored events in American history. @elonmusk purchasing X is the pendulum swinging back towards true democracy, which is only achievable through the preservation of freedom of speech. Never ceases to amaze me how much vitriol is thrown at female MPs. How much crap is made up and how many disgusting memes start circulating without all the facts. People need to start adulting and giving others a fair go. But I guess that horse has bolted.
