NEW ATH AGAIN 🤷🏻♂️
This is staggering considering my $NOW position is actually down 20% right now with a loss of £300, which when I hit 17k start of June it was well in the green, will be buying more at this price as it’s down with no fundamental news tied to it, but great revenue sheets, 99% renewal rate, and already longstanding place in the market that is due to explode.
Memorandum of understanding signed too, this is not final but incredibly bullish for the markets as action is finally seen to be taken towards the end of this war.
FOMC stayed as expected and didn’t disrupt the markets as much as I thought.
$NBIS added to the NASDAQ next week.

100 new followers in the past couple of days — thank you! 🙏
For those who are new here, I’m James (@itsjameshall).
I’m a 35-year-old dad of two young boys, based in the UK, and completely obsessed with building wealth.
I share the exact systems, lessons, and tips I’ve learned on controlling spending, automating investing, and compounding money — all with the goal of helping others (especially young professionals) reach financial freedom faster… while still having fun along the way.
I also write longer threads and a newsletter. If that sounds useful, you can sign up here: jameshall.kit.com/Excited to connect with more people on the same journey.
Drop a reply and tell me a bit about you 👇
Looking forward to the journey ahead 🚀

Good morning all ☕️
Nice start to the day with lots of green 🟢
A nice little achievement for me as of right now. I officially have my first stock pick with a 100% gain in $INTC.
Overall I’m really happy with the positions I’m holding right now. With the long weekend market close starting tomorrow I feel I have made the most of this week 😊
Next up a fresh week with the potential we have this signed deal that Mr Donny has been talking about for what feels like forever…🤦♂️

Morning gang!🚀
In sports therapy, we teach patients that recovery isn’t linear. There are setbacks, plateaus, and breakthroughs. Turns out building a portfolio is exactly the same. Trust the process, manage the bad days, and keep showing up to reap the rewards long-term. 📈 #trading #sportstherapy

One idea from Die With Zero that really sticks with me:
The goal isn’t to die with the biggest portfolio possible.
The goal is to use your money to maximize experiences, memories, and impact while you’re alive.
Build wealth. Invest wisely. But don’t forget to enjoy the life you’re working so hard to create.
For many people, that impact also includes helping their kids through major life events—paying for college, contributing to a wedding, or providing a meaningful down payment on a first home. Seeing them benefit from that support while you’re alive can be just as rewarding as any personal experience.
That’s a concept I’ll be thinking a lot more about as retirement gets closer.
Have you read Die With Zero?

@finsightt Too many people see investing as risky, we need to educate and change that perception in the UK.

£6,000 in a Cash ISA at 4.5% would get you £270 for the year.
£6,000 in my Stocks and Shares (predominantly in a safe index fund) has roughly returned me 13%. This also compounds at a much better rate than a Cash ISA
Cash ISAs are decent for your emergency fund, but at 4.5% you are barely beating inflation.
S&P 500 & FTSE all world roughly returned 25% for the year (it is more YTD)
Use index funds as your savings, not a fixed rate Cash ISA
Thought I’d share my returns so in my first year investing to make a point. This money in a fixed rate Cash ISA would’ve got me £270.

This number MUST be wrong - Is it the number of ISA accounts over £1m?
Most people are going to spread it around - so the number of ISA millionaires being much higher? (across multiple ISAs).
James Hall@ItsJamesHall
10,000 Brits have become ISA millionaires. But only 26% of UK adults even have a Stocks & Shares ISA. Anyone serious about building wealth should be investing in a S&S ISA. Agree or disagree?
