I asked @SpeakerPelosi what she wants to hear from the member briefing on Iran. "The truth." She said "Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon" and that "our friendship with Israel is a true, real one based on values." She says she believes if Pres. Trump had come to Congress (which she says he should have), then he may have had the support to attack Iran's nuclear facilities. Pelosi also reminded reporters that she was against the Iraq war because she believed the intelligence "didn't support the threat," and she wants to hear/see what the intel was for this strike. Since we spoke, the briefing for members has been cancelled and it's unclear when it will be rescheduled.
