Iran claims to have shot it down, CENTCOM states the jet made an emergency landing after a combat mission and the pilot is safe. CNN and other outlets report sources believing it was hit by Iranian fire. If the jet was indeed hit, it was likely a sucker punch from a passive heat seeking system or optical tracker that didn't trigger the F-35's radar warnings, leaving the automated systems too little time to react.

Now that everyone calmed down can we actually begin to ask how tf Iran was able to even lock on to F-35 in the first place, let alone hit it without flare dumping. Crazy.

Daylight savings time is not healthy. Daylight savings time removes sunlight from the morning. Everybody should be going on morning walks at six or 7 AM to start their day. These walks or jogs should occur in the sun. This is only possible on your long standard time. This is one benefit only of standard time.

I wanted to share a quick update on the time change bill we’ve been working on this session, along with recent poll results from Madison County. We surveyed 569 voters, and the message was clear: nearly 76% said Tennessee should stop changing clocks twice a year, and about 68% support staying on standard time year-round to avoid the change altogether. That lines up with what I’ve been hearing across the district—people are tired of the disruption and want consistency. This bill passed the House Public Works subcommittee unanimously and had more than 17 cosponsors, reflecting strong support. That’s why it’s disappointing the Senate State and Local Government Committee voted it down for the year. I still believe this is worth getting done, and I appreciate everyone who has spoken up and supported the effort. We’ll keep working on it.

In northern latitude, DST shifts sunrises to between 8:30 and 9:30pm, while avoiding 4am sunrises when nobody is awake. I wish I was a paid shill, but I know more about this topic than you
