@FriendsofBMTC Exactly, also they should have a different identity and possibly a different kind of bus suited for suburban travel. They should also integrate with BMTC and KSRTC.

what is missing is a middle-category called "Regional buses" which BMTC is trying to fill. KSRTC is for long distance, BMTC is for city operations, and then you should have a separate set of buses for suburban routes. ... with the below move, buses that are meant to serve the city end up being diverted to cater to suburban passengers, leaving commuters within the city underserved.
