@dampedspring @NancyMace many seniors are retiring with ridiculuos defined pension benefits from municipalities - i would argue in part responsible for spiking real estate taxes - unsustainable pay levels when it includes 60-80% defined pension and healthcare

@NancyMace Our seniors should pay more than they do now. They have been the direct beneficiaries of fiscal expansion more so than any cohort except possibly corporates (but the seniors own the shares of those corporates).

Hey @m3_melody I’m listening to the conversation you had with @DavidBCollum on @CoffeeandaMike. I’m curious about your claim of typical datacenters only involving 10 people after the operation is up and running.
I work in datacenters and I can tell you that the job count FAR exceeds 10 people for everyday operations. 10 people is a very very slow day for just my department. And we have multiple departments operating in tandem for a normal day.
Where are you getting these numbers from?

My plan is to have the Fed and govt quit f'ing with housing so prices can drop to a natural not manipulated level & young people have a shot. And get PE and public corps out of SFH entirely.

@GhostofCMGI I think this all changed post-2008 when the Obama Administration under Geithner for the first time had institutional buyers swoop in to SFH, and also a decade of idiotic ZIRP led to a desperate reach for yield. Anyone with money jumped into Real Estate with both feet.
