Due to long incubation periods, it looks like we're going to have wait at least another few weeks just to find out if this Andes Hantavirus outbreak has spread beyond the passengers of the ship: "If there is to be a new generation of [Andes Hantavirus] cases they should appear, ON AVERAGE, at about May 19 -- or 22 days from Gen 2." BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THERE'S NO RISK UNTIL THEN. So let's think about this from a risk mitigation standpoint, ok? Assume the worst while you hope for the best. That's the smart play. So if you're walking through an AIRPORT or TRAIN STATION anytime over the next two months, it won't kill you to put on a gosh darn N95 -- and it might even save your life. Probably totally unnecessary, sure, but if you've ever played the state lottery, you've invested your own money in significantly worse odds than there are of this extraordinarily lethal virus spreading beyond just the ship's passengers. (I'm not telling you what to do, big boy. I'm just saying the mask won't kill you. Totally up to you.)

Andes Hantavirus analysis: This chart suggests Cases 2-8 were all a single H-to-H jump from Case 1, since all of the incubation periods cluster at 22 days from Case 1 symptoms. We are now 13 days from the 'mean' date of symptoms from Cases 2-8. If there is to be a new generation of cases they should appear, on average, at about May 19 or 22 days from Gen 2. Strict protocol would support a 42-day quarantine from last contact or about June 21st for all exposed individuals.

Prof. Joseph Allen confirms the Trump administration is actively hiding how easily this new Hantavirus spreads. He reveals cases where people caught it just by saying hello in passing at a short party. Washington is intentionally underplaying the threat, risking massive spread.

Not unexpected, but a not big deal either. Andes Hantavirus is terrible at human to human transmission. So it is likely to phase itself out before reaching anything close to "pandemic" levels...

The original sin of the Covid pandemic was not acknowledging airborne spread early, despite SARS1 having been airborne (we learned the hard way in Toronto in 2003). It looks like some are finally realizing this, however belatedly and despite the WHO once again trying to downplay it initially with this 'intimate contact' nonsense. Two cases tested positive yesterday from the cruise ship passengers, and this is despite isolation on the ship itself. The 2019 NEJM study on Hantavirus also suggests that this thing might be airborne. If countries don't employ airborne precautions such as isolation of these cases with use of N95/FFP2 and HEPA filtration in quarantine centers, then we are just inviting this thing to spread. Nip it in the bud now.

The CDC quietly changed its hantavirus protocol on Sunday. High-risk exposures now include being within 2 rows of a known case on a plane. Not sure the science on that, but sometimes decisions are just judgement calls. More analysis soon here 👇 insidemedicine.substack.com/subscribe

BREAKING: First sequencing of the Hantavirus from the outbreak. -99% identical to a June 2018 case from a patient in Argentina -10.4 SNV/year mutation rate - The Andes genome is about 12 kb across three RNA segments. At 10⁻⁴ to 10⁻³ substitutions/site/year, that translates very roughly to 1-12 SNV per year -Completely in line with a natural spillover in Argentina from the rodent host in 2018 and now in 2026 Source: virological.org/t/complete-seq…

Went on @CNN yesterday to talk about the hantavirus cruise & why that isn’t what we should worry about. Andes virus is less a threat than the choice to voluntarily sit out a leading role in global health crises & cripple our capacity. We are terribly vulnerable. @SaveAmericaMvm

Hantavirus - cruise ship - and false narratives galore! My scientific and medical opinion as a scientist who did research on Hantavirus is that an inquiry into Dr Bix is warranted Please share massively - accurate info - 1. First and foremost we studied Hantavirus in my lab for many many years and published about it.. so what follows is ACCURATE by someone who did THIS! It is a zoonosis, monitored by many Defense depth, and I was one of those army scientific officers (I was CSO of BE DoD actually, not the copy machine guy!) Type my name and Hantavirus... and you'll see, non classified peer-review research. 2. This woman (Dr Birx) is ‘guilty as charged’ because she was one of the architects of the SARS2 debacle where she forced with her friend (prof Neil Fergusson, Imperial College, London) the policy of ZERO-Covid aka as a suppression policy ZERO covid for a zoonosis? It was NOT possible, not even a policy.. only a ploy to bring about a technology that was NOT ready to the market (RNA vaccines). One can NEVER eradicate (= zero covid) a zoonosis when 600 + mammalian species (cattle, all our pets, zoo animals, deers,... even minks...) share a virus with us and may play 'ping-pong' - that is getting it from us, and giving it back to us! 3. Now she is at it again with the same old LIES and misconceptions Hantaviruses, human-to-human contamination is very rare! 1 - For the EU strains, one gets infected crawling in the woods, and literally inhaling rodent poop/urine (a bit like snorting coke LOL) -The operational army personnel is at risk because that is part of their training and job! - It has essentially no lethality... but one can get sick, and can get complications IF NOT TREATED, like a bacterial colonization of our lungs 2 - For the US Strains (sin Nombre, Andes), there is a slight increase in human-human transfer. - but it remains RARE, - and requires continuous contact with SYMPTOMATIC people for a while like in a family, or like in a CONFINED room with the HVAC of that cruise ship for exemple (where they kept people in THEIR CABINS for a while - which was the ultimate STUPIDITY!) - just passing by someone who coughs or giving a hug - like in the case of a flu, will NOT do it. - mortality nearly only when NON treated.. that is an important point- very important. Why NO PCR to find out? The PCR testing can NEVER b used for a fishing trip. Its is because - and it is known for age- , it has a very low PRE-test predictive value. After SYMPTOMS however, in order to ascertain and/or to differentiate between different pathogens, it is perfectly legit So systematic PCR will just create FAKE cases, like the 80% false positives obtained for SARS2 during COVID Contagion? Hantaviruses have a long incubation period ( a few weeks) but CAN only be contagious with symptoms.... This appear fun general after 15-18 days on average, and are FLU-like. So before any SYMPTOM -> NO contagion Vaccines? NO matter what they tell you, Hantaviruses are ZOONOSIS - so offering a mass protection (useless as I just explained) via a vaccine is - USELESS - INEFFECTIVE... This is true for ANY zoonosis. Because to really mitigate such transmission, vaccinating humans ONLY would be useless! So vaccines NON needed, and besides especially NOT those RNA-based ones Treatments exist! - First of all, we have -when confronted with symptoms- treat those.. like for any flu-like syndrome - if and when bacterial surinfection arises, antibiotics are in order - HANTA-specific molecules do also exist - Ribavirin is an enzyme blocker of the enzyme of the hantavirus... But there is BETTER! ANY medication/drug which interferes with the acidification of late endosomes will PREVENT hanta to reach the biochemical interior of the cell ... and here we find HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE (HCQ) - yep! and it has been published See here: Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Biology pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC80… Chloroquine, an Anti-Malaria Drug as Effective Prevention for Hantavirus Infections The author list is Ironic - this come in tempore non suspecto from a lab of one Birx Friends - also responsible for the SARS2 debacle in EU and in Belgium :) And i want you all to understand the next sentence. This bug is a NON PROBLEM (see image below), it is pure media manipulation In Belgium - for example - we have each year between 150 and 350 cases of Hantavirus patients. We do not loose them, and NO one has ever heard about it.. because it is a NON problem! In the US, with the ANDES strain... one has more chances to die from a lightning strike than for an Hantavirus infection.. in the US roughly 30 cases a year and 10 deaths, lightning strikes 20 deaths per year and several hundred 'cases" per year too. (And no.. GoF research of this germ is not an easy act... it is NOT a new Hanta, the serology, not the PCR, will prove it...) So i hereby request that an inquiry into Dr Birx statements be made, her full list of conflicts be researched, and that HHS refers her to DOJ for the spread of FALSE information, with ill intent .. as outlined in this post. FFS, they're doing it again: Deb Birx, former Covid Task Force Coordinator, calls for "widely available" PCR "testing" for hantavirus, hints it should be used in schools "Because we're not testing populations... we don't really know whether there are subclinical cases" "There could be more human-to-human transmission than we actually see" "It's never good to track viruses through symptoms, we should be tracking viruses through blood tests like PCR, we learned that with Covid" "Many universities were able to open and schools were able to open because they provided weekly testing" "We need to make testing more widely available to those who need it"

🚨Farmers are sounding the alarm — and nobody’s listening. American farmer, Julius Ray Tucker, just tested his soil & found 5X more aluminum than last year. His GMO seeds grow perfectly, but his heirloom crops are dying. — Meanwhile, Bill Gates is pushing GMO seeds engineered to thrive in aluminum-rich soil. And geoengineering delivering that aluminum from our skies. We are being ruled by extremely evil people who want ONLY their GMO seeds to grow. They want total control of our food, our skies, the air, our soil & what gets injected into our bodies. RFK Jr & Head of the EPA Lee Zeldin both promised to stop them from spraying chemicals in our skies. They need to make faster changes.

In Chile, a child under monitoring after a family hantavirus death tested PCR positive BEFORE symptoms. 24 hours later, he became sick. Early negative or asymptomatic periods clearly do not mean non-infectious.

HHS through @ASPRgov and @CDCgov is supporting @StateDept in the repatriation of 17 American citizens from the MV Hondius cruise ship affected by the Andes variant of hantavirus. All 17 are currently en route via @StateDept airlift to the United States, with two of the passengers travelling in the plane's biocontainment units out of an abundance of caution. One passenger currently has mild symptoms and another passenger tested mildly PCR positive for the Andes virus. As of now, the airlift will transport passengers to the ASPR Regional Emerging Special Pathogen Treatment Center (RESPTC) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center/Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska before taking the passenger with mild symptoms to a second RESPTC at its final destination. Upon arrival at each facility, each individual will undergo clinical assessment and receive appropriate care and support based on their condition.

Hantavirus is rare in the U.S. with fewer than 900 reported cases since the 1990s. Rodents are carriers for these viruses. HV does not spread like flu/covid/measles etc so don’t panic just take precautions. Air out closed spaces when cleaning and never sweep or vacuum dry debris- wet the area first and use disinfectant or a bleach solution, let it soak, then wipe up safely. Most U.S. cases occur west of the Mississippi and the deer mouse is the main carrier of the virus in North America. This virus does not have spread character to become a pandemic- it has a low replication value, a short window for spread & strains that are not mutating. The Norovirus outbreak is more common. Wash your hands often while traveling.

I am often encouraged to break things down and make things simpler. So here is a simple post: The Spike Protein used for the Covid Vaccines is not supposed to be in humans. It controls hibernation and reproduction in Horseshoe Bats. It also switches on a low level envenomation as an antimicrobial system. The Hanta Virus (prompt) is a rodent biological system designed for winter and breeding. It protects the sperm in the males testicles, puts the rodents into a low level inflammatory state to protect them from infection from overcrowding and nesting and increases aggression in the males to increase breeding success. Neither of these "viruses" or parts of them should ever be injected into humans. The combination of these vaccines is going to be horrific. The mRNA vaccines lead to shedding of these RNA prompts impacting everyone. We are facing an existential level threat by design. We are being culled.

#Hantavirus is not #COVID. Different virus families, different transmission dynamics, different clinical syndromes, and different treatment approaches. Hantaviruses have been recognized for decades, while SARS-CoV-2 was a novel pathogen emerging in real time. Important to take outbreaks seriously without fueling misinformation or panic.
