@CraigMurrayOrg As others have said the operations are achieving nothing. I therefore suspect a fault rather than malicious actions. Touch screen? Touch pad? Start there.

Can anyone explain what was happening with my laptop here? I confess it gave me the creeps. I wasn't touching anything. The Microsoft Edge browser - which I never use - had come up by itself. The cursor seems to be moving not entirely randomly and clicking on things.

@merchant47 @_LamNam_ @db_fink @PamparauA "I don’t think doctors consciously chose to blame Letby out of malice" That would be nice. I suspect that Brearey hated her because she followed her training and made Datix reports. It should be investigated.

@_LamNam_ @db_fink @PamparauA The ward was failing & staff fell into groupthink. I don’t think doctors consciously chose to blame Letby out of malice; they walked into a psychological trap. It was a way to avoid the ego damaging reality that their own decisions & clinical errors were central to the problem.

@DebbieKennett @letthemeatcakek The problem is that so much of it is corrupted. Misguided (let's say) doctors raise the alarm A £10M police investigation investigates nothing Fake expert invents story for £1M A crazy system where prosecutors lie openly And judge helps them Kaboom! Innocent people in prison.

@letthemeatcakek The law is not working if an innocent person is locked up in jail for non-existent crimes based on the pseudoscientific evidence of charlatan "expert" witnesses.

@nickwallis In her obituary (I guess) on the BBC News at Ten today they simply said- 20 March 2026 22:18 "In 2020 Dame Jennni Murray left Woman's Hour" You can scroll back (up to 2h?) to it right now on bbc.co.uk/iplayer/live/b…

@archer_rs That's true, but it's more than that. The *intent* is to extract cash from the business until it fails. @premnsikka keeps a list Private Equity wrecked: Bernard Matthews Comet Debenhams Flybe Maplin Monarch Airlines Planet Organic Poundworld Southern Cross Thames Water Toys R Us

The bankruptcy of NCP carparks in the UK is a classic example of listening to management consultants who will talk about "unlocking value", in NCP's case selling properties and leasing them back only to discover that lack of ownership has unforeseen consequences. Always own land

The second most popular petition on the Parliamentary website calls for court and tribunal transcripts to be made free. I entirely agree. Find out why below 👇🏻 and sign the petition petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7560…

@BloodyPolitics @GPAPassenger @DJSnM Someone mentioned the other day that C17 can use reverse thrust in flight. No idea if it is true. Might though explain loud noise. UAE. Maybe they are keen to practise tactical approaches :-)

@SpringFord14 @GPAPassenger @DJSnM As a local I can confirm it was a very unusual line of approach into PIK and it was louder than usual probably due to the fast rate of descent. It went right above my head. 🎯

There was a famous "ouch" moment at the Bristol Bar, when Butterworth J told a very prominent silk who was prosecuting: "You are supposed to be a minister of justice. Not a copywriter for the tabloid press." A correction that many lawyers on here, me included, should heed.

Strategic lawsuits against public participation—SLAPPs—are used by those with deep pockets to silence their critics. That includes journalists, whistleblowers, and victims. These cases are not about justice. They are about intimidation. They are designed to drain resources, to exhaust journalists, and to suppress the truth. The Government should introduce legislation to curb these abuses of our legal system 👇🏻

"@realdonaldtrump doesn't care about the distinction between truth and lies. And so does he know he's lying? It doesn't matter to him. Truth has no meaning to him. All that has any meaning to him in any given moment is whether or not he's receiving praise or adulation ... He thinks he can create his own reality and the great megalomaniacs of history have always done that."

But the crazy thing is that decarbonization IS cost-effective. For the majority and for GDP over it is a benefit — even a windfall. We’re destroying everything so the rich minority can keep their lifestyle and their money. That’s it.

@anneapplebaum I disagree -- Trump does not connect actions he takes to events that occur five minutes later. There are smarter dogs.

Trump does not connect actions he takes on one day to events that occur weeks later. Allied leaders know that if they help him in the Persian Gulf, he won't be grateful, or even remember. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/03/…

I genuinely need to know what the red line is for maga. Because at this point it seems like trump could break into your home and rape your daughter right in front of you and you would still find a way to justify your support for this absolute monster.
