Play games that are already out. Play games you missed last year, or five years ago, or 20 years ago. Anything other than giving these people your money.

@Govindtwtt If what you're changing isn't actually your docker build, it's like five lines of python to watch your src, copy changes into the container and run whatever to reload it inside if needed

@21prnv Does graphql still matter? It was a painful security nightmare that existed to solve the problem of, "we want to support a new specific query pattern without changing the backend". But code is incredibly cheap now. You can just add the new query pattern in thirty seconds.

At my first internship, our CTO told us to learn GraphQL in one day. At that time, GPT had just launched and didn’t have much context, so it wasn’t very helpful.
Jumping directly from REST APIs to GraphQL was honestly overwhelming. When I first looked at the docs, it felt hard to understand.
So how did I actually learn it? I still remember my approach:
1. I explored open-source repositories that were using GraphQL
2. I read the documentation and then matched it with real implementations in those repos.
I did this the entire night and somehow managed to build a small project using GraphQL. The next day, I showed it to my CTO, and he was genuinely impressed with the implementation.
Since then, I’ve followed the same approach to learn anything new rather than watching random videos, I focus on real-world code and hands-on implementation.

@datnofact diminishing returns ofc but just getting basic blood work done now and then and adjusting diet / vitamin supplements appropriately takes very little time, money or effort and pays back a thousand fold.
English

Honestly think at best this stuff has a small positive impact compared to regular exercise and a healthy diet but when the sort of people who are into this stuff pop god knows how many supplements and pills along with it, you're basically turning yourself into an n of 1 study.

Joe Rogan underwent a blood-filtering procedure called "plasmapheresis" "The yellow/orange liquid is plasma. They separate it out, remove what they don't want, and replace it so your system can function cleaner. It's basically like changing the oil in your body." (via @joerogan)

@TheGingerBill I uh
I want it in my ide. It's *nice* having a browsable layer of abstraction without getting lost in implementations. I'm sure there's a better solution out there though.
