I read something a few years ago that said Fauci, the former head of the NIH here, said decades ago that ME/CFS was too difficult to solve and then he basically abandoned or got rid of the few small ME/CFS research programs they had at the time. I don’t know if that’s true or not. I think people like him absolutely know it’s real, they just didn’t want to invest the money, clearly.

I remember this very disappointing scenario in which ME/CFS was linked to XMRV infection, only to learn it was a red herring at best and a hoax at worst. Later I discovered the author has gone on to have quite the career in conspiracy theory science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

I know this is random. I just wanted to say I am with @NeleHelena We met in January of this year. I spent basically all my life alone, my teens, my early 20s, my 30s. Only had one relationship prior to Nele. Destiny led me down a very lonely road for decades, but those decades were worth waiting, all the time I spent alone had a purpose, to lead me to her ❤️❤️

Crash is still worsening. Partner had an appointment with my "specialist" (one appointment every SIX!!! months). Nothing. Refused to prescribe anything, even blood tests. Doesn't know Guanfacine or Clonazepam. Told my partner I should not overdo things and to pace emptying my brain. That's just the last straw. Sorry for complaining but needed to. I'm left to die #MECFS
