If you want to fix Obamacare and medical insurance, you first need to force transparent pricing that is the same for everybody! Here’s my latest labwork bill after a general exam. The “list price” was $1225.98 but because this was an in-network lab, the price was reduced by $1133.68. That left $67.30 for the insurance company to pay and $25 for me to pay. In other words, the insurance company’s rate was only 7.5% of the retail price! One shouldn’t have to be insured to get that price; uninsured cash-paying customers should get the same price. That would bring competition into the market and cut out the middleman, making it practical to self-insure for routine care, and just have lower cost catastrophic insurance for serious issues.

🚨 Iran Just Handed the World a Signed Confession: “Peace? Nah. Nukes, Terror, and Crypto Extortion — In That Order.” (And They Did It Right After Spitting in JD Vance’s Face) What you are witnessing is one of the greatest displays of gamesmanship in modern times, but many of you are too stupid, or your brains have been so rotted by severe TDS, that you can't see it. Imagine a veteran employee who has been quietly looting the company coffers for years. You do not dispatch the corporate enforcer with a binder thick as a tombstone. Instead, you choose the gentlest soul in the building—the manager everyone instinctively trusts, the one who still believes in second, third, even fourth chances. You send him in alone with a single, quiet instruction: “Sit with them. Offer one last path back to decency.” You already know the outcome. The point is not redemption; the point is witness. The entire floor watches the kindest voice in the organization extend an open hand, only to see it slapped away while the thief pockets one final stapler on the way out the door. The spectacle itself becomes the verdict. That is precisely what President Trump just orchestrated with Senator JD Vance. Vance is the administration’s most temperate instrument—the diplomat whose very presence signals restraint, the voice that Iran itself had publicly requested by name. He embodies the faction within American power that still insists on exhausting every honorable off-ramp before acceleration. Democrats, Republicans, and a broad swath of the public instinctively prefer that path. By choosing Vance, Trump did not gamble on Iranian conversion. He engineered an irrefutable public audition for peace itself. The world watched the one man everyone agreed was fair walk into the room. Tehran, with cameras rolling, overturned the table. Twenty minutes later, Trump announced a complete naval interdiction of the Strait of Hormuz. And if any ambiguity remained about Tehran’s true hierarchy of desires, the regime removed it with chilling candor. They would not cease bankrolling Hamas. They would not abandon Hezbollah. They would not cut the Houthis loose. They would not halt uranium enrichment. They would not even reopen the Strait without exacting a two-million-dollar cryptocurrency toll per vessel—an extortion demand so cartoonishly mercenary it might have been drafted in a dark-web basement. They did not merely decline a deal. They delivered, in open session, a signed affidavit of priorities: nuclear weapons first, terrorism second, outright piracy third. In that order. Iran did not lose the negotiation. It lost the argument—spectacularly, comprehensively, and on the global stage it had demanded.

Mamdani Says Government-Run Grocery Stores Address Government-Created Inflation 🤔 “Since the pandemic, grocery prices have gone up and they haven't come back down … When New Yorkers are being priced out of their groceries, government will step in and deliver affordability.”

🚨War Update: Iran opened the Straight of Hormuz. In response, Trump is now blocking it, so it's effectively closed. This comes after continued fighting in an effort to force Iran to open the Straight of Hormuz, which they closed b/c of the war. A successful circle jerk.

It has been shown that AI feeding on itself recursively produced total slop. Seemingly unrelated, shooting a missile into a city and then sending a second one in to kill the rescuers is called a double tap. (There girl's school was a triple tap.) Now let's look at markets. They are computers taking cues from computers to generate price discovery or what I could call slop. When we finally get into a secular bear market—I am sure we will someday—sellers will shoot a missile in to create a new variant of price discovery. When the dip buyers show up, we will witness a double tap. It will repeat for a triple tap. The bottom will be set by an octa-tap. Those who say I have been wrong for too long. Sorry. Y'all have won buying expensive markets—what I would call a five-to-one winner on Russian Roulette. You're right. I was wrong. Y'all are right...until you're not.

@DillianTim24617 @chrismartenson I'm not an insider but I'm doing just fine by sticking with my long-term trades and ignoring the market volatility. Over-reacting to news is deleterious to investment health.

I don't know what prompt you used. I had an extended chat with Grok about it just now, and it threw out some hackneyed answers suggesting to me that it has trained heavily on conventional medical opinion but without the benefit of critical analysis of each paper it is inferring a reference to. Most telling, however, is that when pressed at the end, Grok said that if it were a human COVID patient in the 2021 period, hospitalized with a serious case, it would seek ivermectin treatment.

80 lawsuits to force doctors to prescribe ivermectin for COVID. 40 won & got ivermectin, 40 didn’t. 38 out of 40 who got ivermectin lived. 38 out of 40 who didn’t get ivermectin died. The chances that Ivermectin had no impact are something like the chances of you guessing a random 15 digit number on the first try.

@TonySeruga Interesting! Would love to know more about your company and how it and others like it operate. (Personal, not professional interest). Can you list the biases being incorporated into AI? Are they different for the different platforms?

This is very disturbing as one of my companies is an AI Training Data Curator for over two dozen platforms, and they are refusing to incorporate reports from, for example, the Center for Security Policy (CSP), David Horowitz Freedom Center, Clarion Project, Middle East Forum, Investigative Project on Terrorism, RAIR Foundation, but have no problem using CAIR propaganda. In essence, we "teach" AI by supplying the examples and corrections it needs—without this human input, models couldn't reliably recognize patterns or respond intelligently. Then we test AI outputs against guidelines, rank responses (e.g., which AI reply is better), identify edge cases, and flag issues such as hallucinations, bias, or poor performance to iteratively improve models. There is definitely a built-in Islamist bias.

Thanks for providing a link to support your work. Happy to do it! Thanks for your persistence! I don't have a bias towards the truth of what happened, as I am merely a distant observer and reader of news, but I do think it is very important that we find out, especially when so many seem to want to obscure it. You may be mistaken, but I respect the integrity that you and your team are displaying.

@HomeDepot I just want to post my frustration and disappointment with the "bait and switch" approach Home Depot is taking to Home Depot credit card customers like me, by offering %off or $25off deals but then not honoring them at the store. What I keep finding is that the deals aren't honored, the clerks don't know why, and I go to Customer Service and they tell me that the fine print says that the offer does not apply to "non-discountable SKU's." But how are we customers supposed to know what those are?! I went to HD today and bought plywood and water softener salt. My $25 coupon was rejected because of this. Nobody was sure, but thought it was the plywood. This is the 3rd time this kind of rejection has occurred. I'm about to the point of cancelling my Home Depot card and switching my business to Lowe's because I'm so frustrated at the bait and switch! You should clearly spell out what is not included in the deal, or else honor the coupons.
