A man's bench press should be a MINIMUM of 225 lb I will accept the minimum of 205 if you weigh 160lb or less. Again that's the bare Minimum.

It's outta touch imo. The average man cannot bench 135lbs.
225lbs amongst the general population is insanely rare, and among gym goers still not common at all.
With ALL that being said, the most serious of gym goers can hit 315lbs.

What I don’t get the MOST out of this 225 bench argument, or really any lift argument is why yall dont wanna be strong?
There are so many health benefits to lifting. Increased muscle mass, better at metabolizing food, increased bone density etc. why do yall want to live WEAK.

@Jayzus_ It is objectively not an easy bench press if less than 1% of the human population can do it. Among gym bros, gymflation has made it less impressive sounding than it used to be though.
Also, that's powerlifting technique. I don't use it, but nothing wrong with it.
