Until then, RPI can drive the lens directly but I have to change the CM4's IO voltage to 1.8V.

Allllllright, two new camera board: IMX585 and IMX294 I honestly not sure if IMX294 would work on RPI, given the CSI link speed is ~1.7Gbps with 4 lanes, but will see. If it works it will be the largest CMOS sensor in size (4/3) that can work with RPI directly. For IMX585 - I just realized that it uses the same package as IMX283, so it is easy to build a new board with it......Of course not, lol, it ends up being more complex because of the CSI pin placements and more decoupling capacitors. The best thing about designing my own board is that I can just add a RF connector for XVS, XHS and clock to synchronized between the cameras and realtime clock. Will see how it goes.

Next question: presumably I can put my @pimoroni LiPo shim directly back to back with the Pico 2 - without headers. Guessing not all contacts will need soldering. Anyone know which ones?
