Crimson Desert got another update, and this time its the biggest one yet by far. This is where I expected the game would be after 12 months of patches, not barely 1 month. Featuring: - Revamped inventory interface, categories have been added - Difficulty settings added in Easy/Medium/Hard - Graphics upgrade in better distant scenery - Controls can now be remapped fully - Bosses are no longer immune during certain attacks and some attack patterns have been readjusted - Added the "Sturdy gatherables" chest, which can be placed at the player house to store 1,000 items - Added sorted storage at the player house with a host of new, specific chests each made for a purpose. - Goods sold by Greymane merchants at the camp have a 10% discount - You can now change the entire player house to a different layout, new layouts are unlocked with upgrading the camp - Abyss artifacts are now earned when observing skills - Regular Abyss gears, insects, fish, and animals are now stackable - Added birds as pets that you can find out in the world - Added 5 new types of cats - You can now change the name of your owned horses and pets - New weapons and armor have been added - Added a secret shop in Pororin that sells pet outfits - Cloudcart is now functional finally so you can summon it after crafting it - Added new livestock vendors around the world - Improved NPCs to show a wider variety of reactions to their surroundings - Speed of examine plus speed of rotating and pushing things has been incrased - You can now throw weapons while dual wielding - Minimap now displays north/south/east/west - Faction quest menu now tells you how many quests are available at a glance - Map now has a filter/search button - Grouped items in the inventory now have a unique icon to distinguish them at a glance - Damiane and Oongka now have a focused force palm skill, same as Kliff - Tumbleweeds have been added to desert regions There is so much more that this update adjusts and changes that it would make this post even longer, but these are the main changes and yeah... the fact this is all happening just barely a month after launch is insane. Pearl Abyss is working at an unprecedented pace, this is the state I thought the game would get to after a full year of patches, not a month. I highly recommend checking out CD now if you haven't yet!

@RealDemising Adapt and Play? The problem is 90% of the playerbase are casual players. People that get 1-10 hours a week can't adapt and play. If the game loses the casuals everyone suffers and the game becomes unplayable for everyone but really good players and cheaters.

All the hate points to it are just boiling down to it not being glorified big count TDM / FFA, and actually being a Battle Royale. Either adapt and play, don't and play something else for the next few weeks, or play Resurgence Casuals.

@BravoSixxx3 @CPreds_ Casual players make up 90% of the playerbase. 1-10 hours a week of playtime. When they added casual warzone, player count shot up 30%. Without that casual base matchmaking suffers. Without them the game suffers.

Call of Duty should add in solos for Black Ops Royale AND add back BR Casuals rotating with Verdansk & Avalon as soon as possible (yesterday). Black Ops Royale is a completely new experience which many are enjoying, but allowing the casual base to get their feet wet with Avalon the regular casual mode (or choose not to play it and just go back to Verdansk) would probably solve most people’s discontent right now.

@Puma_708 @TaskForceNews I think BlackOps Royale is a great bridge for casual players like my squad into a more traditional BR, my squad is loving it & may never go back to casuals now, the RNG feels so fresh compared to the tired loops Warzone BR and Resurgence have devolved into these last 6 years.

Hell at least the bots shoot back sometimes. I dropped 27 kills playing solo quads yesterday and took maybe 200 damage the whole game. So fun...

Black Ops Royale would have landed infinitely better with the casual player base if they had done the following: ▪️ Added multiple squad sizes ▪️ Added a training mode that everyone dropped into like OG Warzone had so people could learn the mode ▪️ Added some way to see what armor enemies have ▪️ Added more tracks for weapons than just 2 archetypes at launch ▪️ Added custom camos and blueprints on weapons at launch

Black Ops Royale is a home run. Great mix of old and new. No loadouts is so good. Funny hearing people complain how they miss their loadouts They still rather load verdansk with the same 2 guns as long as they can put "their" camo on it. Losers.

The best part of Black Ops Royale / Blackout 2.0 compared to current Warzone is that players don't need to level their weapons to play and enjoy the game like everyone else. Warzone has had a major barrier to entry for new players and casuals due to the weapon leveling system for years. It is what drives players from Warzone to the main titles and is a huge part of their financial strategy, so it's been surprising to see them commit to abandoning that, even if it's only for a short time. Especially since there's really no way to sell weapon blueprints, camos or cosmetics with this current form of Blackout.

@its_me_pirate_ @iamExpel What strategies? Get weapon upgrades, get armor, get grappling hooks. I'm enjoying the game but there's not much strategy when most games end in the 5th circle.

@iamExpel Really enjoying the difference with Black Ops Royale. The learning curve and getting used to the new flow has been fun. Feels fresh and rewarding figuring out new strategies every match.

@TheElderSproles @iamExpel I have tons of friends who are casual players who played regular warzone and didn't like casual warzone. None of them like the new mode. I enjoy it but most of them said they're done with CoD after a few games. Now I get to play with randoms lol.
