I imagined ABS fixing the ridiculous misses. The fact we are judging umpires on a 100 mph pitch with filthy movement, and judging them on missing it by 1/10th inch means we have lost the plot.

The average poker player is unbelievably lazy, more than you think. Up to a certain point, money is relatively easy to make once you have a decent understanding. At that stage, players just stay in their comfort zone. Outworking your competition has never been easier.

@amit32883 @lowstakesdre 3 out of 8, long term, is being way way too generous. Most tables in any given card room most of the time likely have 0 long term Profitable players.

@lowstakesdre I would guess that only the top 3 outta 8 players have any shot at breaking even net of tips and rake in zero sum games. And 3 is probably extremely generous.

@_S_Cundiff I actually liked the idea of adapting the books to prestige long form. So much character development, side plots, and just fun world building/details was necessarily left out of the films. Im not sure this adaptation is going to work though. We’ll see!

I.... just don't understand why anyone would greenlight this. The movie series still looks incredible. This isn't adding anything interesting. It all looks... the exact same.

Netflix production booth is butchering this game. Missed the first use of ABS in reg season. Cant make it back from commercials in time to for a base hit. Constant circus w/ game itself being background noise. Ridiculous
