@ChristinaPushaw @visualbasic97 I would say afd a protein shake per meal, they're only like 150 calories each. If you only want to have 1 per day I'd suggest something like a mass builder which is like 1200 calories.
English

@visualbasic97 It is difficult if you're eating healthy whole foods. Try to add a protein shake everyday.

@HellaADZ I was on the street behind hotel via (across the street from the stadium) for all of 3 minutes and saw a guy casing every car for valuables. That's not normal.

@DegenRolf I can't for the life of me figure out why western white women wouldn't want to enter a relationship with Muslim men whose entire culture is built around degrading / subjugating women. It's one of life's great mysteries.
English

Male refugees from Afghanistan and Syria in Germany show a keen interest in forming relationships with local women, but the local women show little interest in forming relationships with them.
Germany, in particular, received over 1,4 million refugees between 2014 and 2016, predominantly from Muslim-majority countries such as Syria and Afghanistan. The majority of these arrivals consisted of young, single men within prime marriageable age brackets. This study examines partnership preferences of male refugees from Afghanistan and Syria who arrived in Germany between 2014 and 2016 and female residents of similar age.
Overall, our results indicate a high level of openness among male refugees towards partnering with female members of the resident population, but a comparatively low level of openness among the latter towards partnering with recently arrived male refugees. This implies a substantial incongruence in partnership preferences among the two groups.
Regarding the educational level of a potential partner, we found that all respondents prefer highly educated partners over those with lower levels of education. This suggests that, for refugees, securing a highly educated partner might serve as a means of upward social mobility and integration into higher-status networks in the host society.
Furthermore, it is possible that highly educated women, due to their greater exposure to diverse social environments and potentially less discriminatory attitudes, are perceived as more open to intergroup partnerships, making them a more attractive choice for refugees seeking acceptance and social integration.
On the other hand, the reluctance of resident women to accept partnerships with refugees is largely explained by their rejection of the ‘imported’ religious Islam. It is possible that resident women perceive the religious practices of newly arrived refugees as different from their own, reinforcing a social distance that limits intergroup partnerships. Moreover, this reluctance might not only reflect religious differences but also concerns about gender norms or perceived lifestyle incompatibilities.

FYI a nuclear suicide vest isn’t feasible due to basic physics.
Nuclear explosions require critical mass, which means slamming the particles together. It needs space, so containers are large & heavy.
This isn’t limited by tech. It’s limited by physics and reality.

@elonmusk You should give a tesla to tiger woods (that only works in fsd). Don't think of it as a donation to a billionaire, think of it as an investment toward the safety of all Floridians that have to share the road with him.

I tried tonight to watch Top Gun Maverick. Things that I would enjoy more:

2) Giving @joebiden an oil massage;
3) Listening to Occasional Cortex @AOC explain her foreign policy views;
4) Visit Raqqa, Syria wearing a “I love Bibi” t-shirt;
5) Injecting Ebola into my eyeballs.

Rwandan migrant Emmanuel Abayisenga had his asylum application to France rejected multiple times since submitting it in 2012. Despite orders for deportation, he remained in the country illegally.
The priests trusted him with the cathedral keys, putting him in charge of locking up and caretaking. After he set the building on fire, destroying the organ and organ loft, Father Maire took him in, offering him shelter in his own home while awaiting trial.
He then murdered Father Maire.

@ChristinaPushaw Yup, I'm tired of the insanity defense. If they're so crazy they don't know they shouldn't be killing people, we should automatically be applying the death penalty.
English

Let me guess, his lawyers and maybe the lefty DA will try to convince us that this murderer is "insane" and therefore "not guilty." I'm not buying it.
All these public transit predators, like the killer of Iryna Zarutska and the illegal who set the woman on fire in Brooklyn, ALWAYS are sane enough to target victims who are vulnerable and weaker than them. A small young woman, a sleeping homeless woman, an 83-year-old man... It's not a coincidence.
If this murderer had picked a fight with a man bigger and stronger than him, or better yet with the train itself, I would be more inclined to believe he's "insane."
Regardless, he is unfit to live in society let alone on taxpayers' dime. This should be a death penalty case, but unfortunately it happened in NYC so we will be lucky if he's not back on the streets and killing more people in 5 years.

While at the gym today I noticed a young man working at the front desk staring intently at his laptop. You could see the stress on his face.
Before I left, I asked if he was in college and he said yes, so I asked what he was studying and he told me pre med, which led into a conversation about why he had been staring so intently at his computer.
He showed me his screen and told me he was literally debating dropping his current classes while he could still get a refund. He’s hearing from older grads struggling just to get residency and he’s not sure he wants to keep paying for school if there may be no jobs at the end.
That conversation today is exactly why this fight matters. A pre-med student, halfway through the hardest path you can take, sitting there debating whether to quit… not because he failed, but because he doesn’t believe there’s a future waiting for him at the end.
We are now at a point where high-achieving American students are questioning whether merit even matters anymore.
They’re watching graduates struggle for jobs. They’re seeing doors close before they even get there. They’re being told, in every indirect way possible, that effort isn’t enough.
This is how a country collapses its own future... quietly, systematically, and in plain sight.
You don’t need a war when you can convince your next generation to give up before they even start.
That’s what this is. This is not just about jobs. This is about whether Americans still have a place in their own economy.
And if we don’t fight this now, hard, loud, and without apology,
there won’t be anything left for the next generation to fight for.

@ChristinaPushaw @ThisThatOther2 Nj has the PATH, sf has BART and I guess miamis would be called SCUBA
English

@ThisThatOther2 Agreed. I just saw a popular post suggesting that Miami should "build a subway" to become a "world class city." So many issues with that, I couldn't even bring myself to engage....
English

It’s too complicated to go into. But people moving to Miami should really do their homework about the natural ecology of that area and Florida as a whole. Miami wasn’t meant to sustain that many human beings, especially with the natural cycles of flood and drought.
They’ll have to figure it out for themselves
