@The_Acumen Sure it is. Many sins relate to you as an individual rather than society or God himself. Sins against yourself keep you from achieving your intended purpose or highest potential. It's similar to gluttony, envy, wrath, sloth etc.

Homosexuality isn’t even a sin, or part of the 10 Commandments, but you know what is? Murder (bombing and killing civilians), stealing (wars to steal resources from sovereign nations) false witness (using God and Christianity to justify heinous and evil actions).

Basic human decency predates Christianity by thousands of years. Humans had empathy, reciprocity, taboos on murder and care for each other long before the church turned up and tried to claim copyright over morality.

@TheSkepticWiz I would disagree. People often do need religion. It defines, very accurately, behavior that leads to achieving your best life. It clearly defines acceptable and unacceptable behavior helping to remove ambiguity. It provides comfort, support & connection during difficult times.

Why would thinking that is exactly what she wanted, be unexpected if she is wearing very revealing clothes?

You saying they were likely intended to invoke* those thoughts are assumptions. If you justify those thoughts that way, I just hope you wouldn’t try to justify predatory actions because it seems so.

Women should also understand that their appearance choices naturally influence others and it can draw attention, sometimes unwanted attention.

@kavenirr @Rob9152 @TheSkepticWiz God doesn't make mistakes. I do however fall short of his vision for me and pretty consistently make poor decisions. You get pretty hostile when people refuse to buy into your agenda that homosexuality / trans is a normal and good condition.

Of course we have laws that limit his reaction to protect her from harm. That wasn't the claim. It was that he shouldn't have an opinion or be impacted. That is ignorant.

Few want to "forbid" homosexuality. Most don't care but folks insist it's "normal". Who is imposing their views again?
