Today would have been the perfect opportunity for Jay Collins to reset his campaign and gain some momentum. But, once again, this campaign fumbled the ball and turned a potential positive into a glaring negative.
Poor site selection, indescribably bad lighting, and the candidate fumbling his way through a statement that it sounded like he was reading for the very first time illustrates just how reactionary to social media chatter this whole thing was.
The announcement of an all-out attack on Byron Donalds could have been a huge boost but was overshadowed by the hurried nature, questionable reasoning, and poor presentation of this "event".
