Former PM @JustinTrudeau recognized SpaceTech as nation-building. The question now is whether Canada will match the pace of our peers.
India is landing on the Moon, the U.S. has poured $30B+ into Space Force & commercial partnerships, and China spends 5x Canada’s entire space budget annually.
Meanwhile, founders like @astrorahul_ and @Nord_Space are building SpaceTech 2.0 here at home — with a fraction of that support.
At @spacecanada events, MPs often ask what government can do. The first step is what Rahul points out: recognizing the nation wants this. The second is matching words with resources, at a level comparable to our allies.
Because by 2045, every company will be a space company. The only question: will Canada lead, or be left behind?
