We are in good hands with Tom Schultz as our new Chief of @forestservice. We had a chance to visit with Chief Schultz today on ways we can partner to #ReforestAmerica, and I came away extremely impressed. This starts with his eagerness to hear @AmericanForests experiences and new ideas for working with the agency on big moves like reforesting our National Forests for long-term resilience using the funding provided by the bipartisan REPLANT Act. As a long-time leader in the forest sector, we also saw how deeply the Chief understands the urgency of reforestation, especially in post-🔥landscapes, and the forestry nuances of getting it right across the whole #reforestation supply chain. We are fortunate to have someone with his skills and commitment to public-private partnership leading the U.S. Forest Service, and I see some big breakthroughs ahead for reforestation across America, including on our National Forests.
