I bought an 85" Sony Bravia from @BestBuy on March 1st. Delivery took 12 days. Now mounting has been delayed another week and just got cancelled again via email. I've been lied to and given the runaround by at least 5 different employees. A @BestBuySupport agent on X even told me to wait until he gets back from vacation to 'fix' it. I spoke with someone from 'corporate' this morning who told me she has to investigate and will possibly get back to me tomorrow. @BestBuy doesn't seem to care and refuses to actually mount the TV. @BestBuySupport help? This is unacceptable for a big purchase. Here's a picture of the TV in the box sitting in my living room.

Tonight we are making Peruvian style steak and egg fried rice with a spicy Aji verde sauce. We don’t have it often, but it’s one of my very favorite dishes.

@JamesSpillaneNH The two things are not at all mutually exclusive. Part of the lie was if they put in the effort they would get the reward and it just wasn’t true. It was honestly very unfair to them.

The reason Gen X is so cynical is they were the first generation that was taught, “You can be anything you want when you grow up.” They genuinely believed it and became bitter when it turned out not to be true. They are not the celebrities they were told they could be.

I've been on a plan like this for years, only it is $3400 before benefits kick in. The 2 things I like is that after $3400 you just pay co-pays and %s for certain things and out of pocket spending for the year is capped at $5K. Also when you have this type of plan you can invest in a HSA which allows you to invest a certain amount per year tax free like an IRA. And withdraw it tax free as many years as you wish later as long as you spend it on healthcare.

I'm not enjoying my new Rx benefit plan under the company that purchased my company last year. I've got to meet a deductible of $2,500.00 before any Rx benefits kick in. Until then I pay full price for all medications. 🙄

I’ve had a couple of complaints about how political our X page is and how that’s no way to run a business. I disagree. I believe it is more important now more than ever to be unashamed in your beliefs and that people very much want to support businesses that align with their values and there is a whole lot of us in this country.
