Justin Rose is overpowering Torrey Pines South with driving distance at 45 years old.
15 years ago, he was in the 160’s for ball speed. He hit 180 today.
I understand he trains hard and has worked on speed and everyone has access to the same equipment, but it’s beyond time to shrink the driver heads.

@evan_1177 @jonathanrwall @TaylorMadeGolf Oh I know. But if I walk in a store and say “I’ll take one full set of irons, please” and they hand me a 5 thru 9 iron, I’m laughing in their face. Also, if they use a different 4 “iron” then it’s not a full set haha makes no sense

@KendoVT Invite the player ranked 71st if Rory or someone up top is going to bail. That last spot means the world to those players. Rory bailing on this means nothing to him. Still would have a 70 player field for the opening playoff event.

Got no problem w/ Rory skipping. Ppl saying the regular season means nothing, but this is a huge benefit of being near the top of the FEC standings. Skip 4 rounds in 110 heat. Fresh for last two starts. The playoffs suck/should be changed but in this format, no issue with Rory.

Big charity golf scramble tomorrow with my dad and a few of his buddies. Haven’t played since Father’s Day so needed to get out and take some swings.
Back is tighter than a trefoil knot so trying to dial in a smoother tempo. Third swing definitely felt the best of the 3. #Munch
