We also have people of church music (who artists have always repeated their hymns without permission), we have DJs, we have comedians, MCs, writers, skit producers, record labels, promotors etc etc.

The new law does not stop promotion, it makes it fair and sustainable. Artists can still pay DJs and media houses to promote their music. The difference now is that promotion is no longer a one-way expense with no return. Instead, it’s a strategic investment. For example, an artist may pay 3 major media houses and 3 top DJs to push a song. If that song resonates with the audience and gains traction, it will naturally spread to other platforms like radio stations, TVs, clubs, and DJs, who were not paid initially. Under the new system, every time those platforms play the song, the artist earns. This flips the model where before,you pay, your song plays, you earn nothing back. Now, you pay, your song grows and you earn from wider usage It creates a multiplier effect. The more your song is demanded, the more you earn. This will also force artists to invest in quality productions

It should be within the power of the officials in real time to disqualify a team, but it's a hollow victory for Morocco to appeal and win in this manner, weeks after the trophy lift. Morocco accepted Senegal's return from their 10-minute walk off, gladly resumed play and took their penalty. Missing it, losing the game, then appealing to gain the trophy doesn't sit right, even if by the letter of the law there are grounds to do so.
