Ukraine by itself could not begin to act in this way. It has not been fully sovereign since its last properly- elected President was overthrown in a western-endorsed coup d’etat, 12,years ago. Millions of Ukrainians have fled the country rather than be caught up in this horrible war. Many who stayed, now hide from Army press gangs.

@dangainor @itsdaniryan Russia didn't start any "war" in Ukraine in 2022. They intervened in the 8th year of a civil war on their border, where the Kiev regime installed by the West in the 2014 coup were persecuting ethnic Russians and Russian speakers in Donbas.

I have some very strong opinions on the origins of the Ukraine war and on NATO's role in provoking the conflict. I also have very strong negative views on Ukrainian leadership.
But I have never once rejoiced at seeing missiles fall on Kiev.
