I took yesterday off stream for a very important reason. I was invited to try out an early build of the Legend of Dragoon remake on PS5! I can’t say much (like… at ALL), but just know I’m freaking out and it’s everything I hoped for so far.

@vhyrel 3rd favorite is by far VI or as it was released here in the USA III on the SNES. 2nd easily IX. I loved the return to the roots of the series. 1st hands down VII on PS1. I replay it all the time. Bonus XI. Still currently playing it. Atm lvl 85 Blackmage (I get side tracked)

@theWellRedMage One of my favorite SNES games. Sadly I didn't own it growing up, otherwise I would have mastered it. I still have yet to get very far in it. Maybe someday I'll be able to at least finish the game.

Today in RPG history... Beam Software and Data East released Shadowrun for SFC in JP on Mar 25, 1994. It's the best Western RPG on the system, a sweet combo of cyberpunk adaptation with point-n-click action-adventure plus RPG character progression unlike much else on the SNES!

@bartlebytaco I will reread my favorite books every 3-5 years. It's amazing how much you forget/didn't absorb during the first or second reading. Added on top of new life experiences that will help you understand/appreciate certain aspects.

a few days ago i realized i have a 15-year log of every book i've read—i started writing down every book i read in 2011. as i was combing through this list i would occasionally stop on a title and realize i couldn't remember a single thing about it, and this was 60% of the books

@skumWgmi We live in cheaper apartments, own 10+ years old vehicles that are paid off, and pay minimum insurance hoping we don't get in an accident. We don't eat out, cook at home, rice/beans are your friends. The economy is fucked for sure, but you're also trying to live above your means

@treydayway I personally never got rid of my optic drives. And the only reason I'm not buying new media in physical format is because it's very rare for me enjoy the new show/movie. I'm still adding to my backlog of old movies/games. I just wish I had the space to keep the cases.

They got rid of cd/dvd players in all devices. They limited the ability to buy physical cds and dvds. Got rid of expandable memory on cell phones. Forced streaming services and charged us. Made us get unlimited internet. Gradually raised prices of all. A whole scam

@Math_files I was helping my 9 year old with math homework this last weekend. The worksheet was filled with these type of questions. My kid started getting overwhelmed because I was teaching them how to correctly do mathematics. Not this common core bullshit they're being taught.

@Shinky_Plays I played crono cross before trigger. Trigger is great, but I loved all the different characters in cross, the story was better too IMO. That said, FFVI, FFVII, and FFIX are some of the greatest JRPGs

@shadeprotocolGM I wasn't a part of the Kickstart, but I do believe I bought it on day one. I honestly didn't think it deserved all the hate. It's wasn't Megaman, but it was still fun.

If you were part of the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter, come hang out with us. I don't know how yet, but I'll figure out a way to do right by you. The Megaman fans have been let down too many times. No more "spiritual successors"; be inspired by, listen to, and respect the players!

@BilsuArt Scope creep is a real thing. Focus on making the game fun first, then you can add in the random side mechanics.
