Karen Read graduated high school with twin sisters Tricia and Anne Paruti. Tricia went on to work at Fidelity, like Karen. Anne now works as an assistant lawyer for the US Attorney's Office. The Feds. We have not yet found evidence to demonstrate how well Karen knew Anne or whether they maintained a friendship. However, we have found plenty of evidence that she maintained a friendship with Tricia, who she called "twiss". Karen attended Trician's wedding. And I've posted here a birthday message posted on Karen's timeline from Tricia...or "twiss". So they were still fairly close friends in 2014, 16 years after they graduated together. Is this why Karen and her team had unusual and improper connection to the Feds? Why information flowed from the US Attorney's Office to Karen's camp? Meanwhile, Anne had co-prosecuted cased with Adam Deitch, who led the Karen Read related federal investigation. Anne's husband, Michael Lohnes, is currently the campaign manager for Deitch, who moved to Norfolk County so he could run for District Attorney there. The Norfolk District Attorney has been sending letters to the DOJ in Washington that complain of improper behavior by the US Attorney's Office. So far as we know, that is the only government authority trying to get to the bottom of the unusual relationship between Karen and the Feds. If Deitch is elected, all of that investigating comes to an end. Very convenient. I want to be clear. At this time there is no evidence of wrongdoing by Anne Paruti. Maybe she properly informed US Attorney Leigha Foley of her past relationship with Karen. Maybe she informed Foley that she helped Karen get a meeting with Josh Levy, the First Assistant US Attorney, in August 2022. Maybe Deitch explained to Foley why he had such unusual and improper communications with key Read expert witness, Dr. Wolfe of ARCCA, and why they were breaking state sequestration orders and feeding Wolfe what the state's experts were testifying. But these are questions that need to be publicly addressed by the US Attorney's Office. Where there's smoke there's fire, and where there is a foul odor there's often something rotting.
