The stabbing happened a day after Davier Massey, 28, was banned from a Planet Fitness in Pennsylvania for not paying his subscription
Massey returned on April 2 twice and caused a disturbance
On his second visit, he got into an altercation with an employee that escalated, and Massey repeatedly stabbed the worker
The victim was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Massey was arrested elsewhere in the same shopping center
