Best airdrop strategy is just using protocols you'd use anyway. Tracking a $10k portfolio with the best yields, and organically using a few protocols that don't have a token yet. If an airdrop comes, it's a bonus on top of the yield. @onrefinance @hylo_so @loopscale

This week I experimented with Kamino Multiply loops on PRIME and ONyc @onrefinance Bad timing, the Drift exploit happened and borrow rates spiked across all Solana stables. Had to close Prime loop, still in on the Onyc/usdc multiply (2.2x leverage)

Rough weak for Solana Defi. Wasn't directly affected by the Kamino exploit, but makes you pause and think if the risk of using defi is worth it.

@Dadivan_sol @kamino Good timing for this. I started 3 weeks ago tracking a 10k portofolio. Somewhat similar my allocation, 2k on usdc Onre Vault on loopscale, 2k in $Shyusd, 2k in prime, 2k in pst, and 2k on the kamino loop (Onre). Feel you can points farm, while still optimizing for yield.

If I had $10K in Solana today, this is exactly how I'd allocate it for yield: • 40% → Stable yield • 25% → @kamino loops • 20% → RWA-backed vaults • 15% → Points farms Goal: balance real yield + upside + liquidity Breakdown ↓ ⸻ 1) 40% - Stable Yield ($4,000) Base layer. Consistency matters here. Focus: • pbUSDC / sHYUSD • Real yield over emissions • Strong borrowing demand Target: 10–20% This is your sleep-well capital. ⸻ 2) 25% - Kamino Loops ($2,500) Where efficiency kicks in. Why: • Capital reuse • Higher effective APY • Flexible adjustments But: Rates change fast. You need to monitor. Target: 10–18% (variable) Most people chase loops. Few manage them right. ⸻ 3) 20% - RWA Vaults ($2,000) Underrated part of the stack. Why: • Yield backed by real-world cash flows • Less dependent on token incentives Target: 7–14% This is where DeFi starts feeling like actual finance. ⸻ 4) 15% - Points Farms ($1,500) Asymmetric upside. You're not here for APY. You're here for: • Points • Future airdrops • Ecosystem exposure Some will underperform. One can outperform everything. ⸻ Final thought: Most people optimize for APY. I optimize for: → Yield quality over yield size → Capital efficiency over capital volume → Optional upside on top, never as foundation That's how you build a real DeFi portfolio. ⸻ Tomorrow: full breakdown of bucket #1 Conservative Stable Bucket Playbook. How I think about the 40%.

@dethective That's what I am trying to understand. I am tracking a 10k portfolio just with stables and bear-yielding tokens. Btw, which depeg?

I just checked my spreadsheet for stablecoin management over the past year: > Spent a lot of time studying protocols, managing risk, and diversifying > Spent time bridging and confirming across multiple chains > +$1,570 in profit > Lost $1,635 in one of the depegs Total: -$65 Is it really better to just keep stables on a hardware wallet and leave them there?

@jussy_world I am journaling a 10k portofolio of yield-bearing stables and lending vaults. 🧐

The safest way to earn yield Lending vaults or yield-bearing stablecoins from RWA Here's how I think about the split: • 80% in lending vaults or yield-bearing tokens • 20% in looping no matter how good the asset, you can always get liquidated, so keep the amount low Looping gives you roughly 2x the yield of regular lending Which means that 20% in loops effectively acts like 40% in normal yield Research below is done by using @LinceFinance Compare all yields, liquidity, security and strategies

🧭 DeFi Loop Radar Week #13 🫡 $36.25 profit from loops I haven't touched in 6 weeks on @kamino Zero management. 15% APY. RWA-backed. Here's the setup 👇 1️⃣ Positions ONyc / USDC (since Feb 25) • 16.35% APY • 2.34x leverage • +$13.23 ONyc / USDG (since Jan 6) • 14.19% APY • 1.88x leverage • +$23.05 2️⃣ What's happening ONyc is backed by real-world reinsurance yield. Not crypto emissions. When you loop it, you're scaling exposure to a non-reflexive yield source. No chasing farms. Just structured yield. 3️⃣ What I learned • APY stabilizes around 13–16% • Lower leverage = smoother ride • Higher leverage = slightly more efficient • Performs consistently even when markets dump No need to over-optimize. 4️⃣ The mistake most people make They treat this like a farm. It's not. This is a credit carry trade, not a yield play. 5️⃣ Takeaway ONyc loops are structured yield that compounds quietly. And in most markets, that's exactly what you want.
