@ZackBornstein Totally agree and could not have been more pleasantly surprised by this. Despite my love for the original and almost everything Lawrence touches, I was not optimistic about the reboot. Very glad to have been wrong.

@DoctorLemma When I first started reading this tweet it was long enough that I couldn’t see the video but when I read “British tv host made him laugh harder…” I immediately thought “this is 100% going to be Alison Hammond” and I wasn’t disappointed. She’s a treasure.

Harrison Ford has done press interviews for 50 years and almost never looks like he’s enjoying himself. Then a British TV host who hadn’t even seen his film made him laugh harder than anyone ever has on camera. In 2017, Ford and Ryan Gosling sat down on ITV’s This Morning to promote Blade Runner 2049. Interviewer Alison Hammond opened with a straight face: “Bleak. Dystopian. An absolute nightmare to be honest with you.” Both actors braced. Then she added, “that’s just my interviewing techniques.” Ford cracked. Gosling broke completely. Within a minute, Gosling had opened a miniature bottle of whisky and poured himself a glass. Hammond then admitted she’d never seen the original Blade Runner. She asked Gosling if he’d brought his knitting needles to set. He looked down at his sweater and said, “Yeah, this is what I did on set. I knitted this.” Ford tried to give a serious answer about the film. Hammond poured herself a drink. Ford grabbed Gosling’s glass and took a sip. The whole thing lasted four minutes. Almost none of it was about the film. Hammond left thinking she was going to be sacked. The clip passed 19 million views on YouTube. Ford walked up to her afterward and said she’d made his day. When they did a follow-up Zoom days later, he didn’t recognise her. He later requested her by name for his next press tour.

@JaeGamez I see exactly what you mean. Anyone who understands Kratos knows he’s never once stood like that. He would be standing up straight with arms crossed and his expression would be placid but not entirely concealing the ever present rage. This guy bending over ain’t Kratos.

Oof! Been hyped for God of War on Amazon Prime since Day 1, but this first Kratos & Atreus shot is giving... interesting 😅 I’m reserving judgment for the trailer, but damn. What do you think, are they cooking or is this show cooked??

My daughter has a new favorite song… Probably not a lot of people who know how it feels to be staring at the ceiling at 4am desperate but unable to fall asleep because Farting round the House by Mr. Farts is playing on repeat in their head, but for those that do, I see you.

I listen to a lot of audio books. I’m currently listening to The God is Not Willing by my favorite author Steven Erikson, which is narrated by @emma_chorussea, and she is probably the best narrator I’ve ever heard. So impressed. Well done, Emma!!

Today I randomly searched my game on SteamDB and realized it was listed as the 931st most wishlisted game on Steam. In other words, Tabletop Tavern is in the top 1% most wishlisted games on Steam! Absolutely Unreal.

Made it home to Arimaya Village just in time for the holidays... When we were kids, we spent much of the holiday season getting to know the towns from games like Alundra and Secret of Mana. We want to recreate that same sense of warmth and sanctuary with Arimaya Village.
