Born in Rome and based in London for nearly two decades, Quayola has developed a body of work that moves between the real and the artificial, the figurative and the abstract, the old and the new.
Ahead of his exhibition at Art Basel Hong Kong curated by @bitforms gallery, in partnership with @artontezos and @objktone, Quayola speaks with @RaquelGaudard for OBJKTOR.
He reflects on a practice where observation begins with the human gaze and extends through machines, unfolding as an ongoing process rather than isolated works, tracing a line between landscape, data, and the gestures that bind them.
