Ben McCollum: "We just told them, the day after that, unless it's media that's asking you questions, you're not allowed to talk about the Florida game. So, I don't want you to read social media about. I don't want you to drink the poison. We let them talk about it for five minutes in film the other day and they could goof around about all the things that went on. And then right when that five minutes was done, it's done, and we're on to Nebraska."
Love this from #Illini head coach Brad Underwood - asked if he has any issue/finds it unfair to have to play Houston IN Houston in the Sweet 16.
"I could care less... I'm an old JUCO ball coach. I drove on 16 passenger fans. I drove from Dodge City, Kansas to Mesa, Arizona for a basketball game... If you had told me back then that I'm getting to coach basketball in the Sweet 16 and play Houston - I would sign up for it, I would crawl to get there."
Says regardless of where the game is, Illinois would/will need to play well to beat the Cougars.

What do YOU think patriots? Would YOU support MTG for President? 🤦♂️
🚨 BREAKING: Republican Senator John Kennedy just blamed Trump for the shutdown.
“The Democrats offered a deal… we said accept it… Trump said no.”
That deal would have paid TSA this week.
This isn’t partisan spin.
This is coming from inside the party.

@TheFieldOf68 Easy fix; put a cap on NIL like every other sports league and punish the ones who go outside the structure in a serious way. If college sports wants to be like everyone else, it has caps and luxury taxes.
Tommy Lloyd on no mid-majors in the Sweet 16:
“I think that parity is great for the game, but things change. I think once finances become part of it, there’s gonna be a breaking point for some of the lesser programs that just don’t have the finances. And that’s just an obvious statement"
@Jacobtheclipper@WesClements22 People in here blaming DP obviously have never played competitively before. There is no situation where he should help one pass away. If he did and the kick out hit the shot instead then y’all would be blaming him for coming in.
This is what I was saying about Peterson, dude already knows he’s a top 2 pick and he hoops way too nonchalant.
How do you leave the basket instead of helping on the drive? It’s a tie game, give up a 3 not a layup!
