Good morning! The Braves have posted 2 shutouts in their first 4 games. The last time they did that was in 1906, the other time was in 1899. This is the first time they have done it against teams not named the Brooklyn Superbas.

Major buyouts that Charlotte is currently paying: 💰Biff Poggi (fired on 11/18/24; buyout of $1.3M) 💰Mike Hill (fired on 10/16/25; buyout of $2.2M) 💰Aaron Fearne (fired on 3/17/26; buyout of $1.5M) Not sure where the 49ers are getting all of this money.

This was what stood out to me the most when taking a look at Fearne’s body of work at Charlotte. We knew White would make a move, and now we’ll get to see his first hire as AD.

The retread market is strong, Kevin Keatts and Wes Miller would be calls I make today. Sitting head coaches would be Brooks Savage (ETSU), Scott Cross (Troy) and Nolan Smith (Tenn St) are at the top my list as well.

Since 2010 Charlotte has made 4 coaching changes and never hired a sitting Head Coach. A lot of that is self-imposed financial stupidity, we have a tendency to fire coaches a year or two after signing extensions.

@_agent49 It pays me to say this because I think he's a really good man but I feel we need to make a change. We had so much talent this year and this season could've been really special. It's not like we're keeping any of our players anyway. Might as well clean the entire house.
