My husband turned me on to Star Trek. At first, I found Spock really hot. Then, I learned that Klingons have two dicks. Suddenly, I'm fascinated by Worf.

Is it just Chesham @sainsburys that don't cover the original barcode on their out/short dated discounted products so you're more likely to accidentally pay full price. Don't know if anything in Sales Of Good act covers this.... @MoneySupermkt

Re: Home Office guidance supposedly issued in 2008 advising police not to intervene in child grooming cases because victims had ‘made an informed choice about their sexual behaviour’? BBC Verify carried out extensive searches of HO guidance across that period & found no evidence any document containing that advice exists 1/2

I wanted to impress a nerdy film fan bloke at work so I thought I'd slag something off. "Dexter Fletcher's terrible English accent ruined Lock Stock for me" is what I went with. I thought he was American because I watched Press Gang as a kid.

@fesshole Clothes are often sent by charity shops for recycling into blankets (those rough ones used by moving companies). Worth a check to see if that's what they are doing.

My wife is obsessed with donating things, even if it's a broken toy or ripped clothes. She thinks everything can be reused by someone else. It's embarrassing when she takes this stuff to charity shops, so I just bin it.

@fesshole Striped socks are easier than black or white socks when you have to find the exact same type of sock in the pile.

My partner has lots of striped socks. Some with different coloured stripes, some with narrow stripes, some with wide stripes and some just slightly different. I hate them. It takes ages to find a pair. We're moving house this week. He doesn't know it, but I've binned the lot.

Another benefit of not having a Royal Family, is that they could stop killing Canadian bears to make stupid hats.

Singing the national anthem - whether you do or don't makes no difference to your motivation or ability. If you think Carsley is unfit for not doing so, at least admit you are applying a culture wars/political test, which has nothing to do with competence.

Nobody grows up wanting to be a comedian. It's just that they failed so hard at school the only things left for them was to become a clown or go on the dole.

@mrJamesGraham @dsmiffy55 @TVKev You’re right James. Sheriff is normally a local government civic position with various means of appointment and can be filled by civilians or councillors, former or current. High Sheriff is a Royal Appointment usually filled by someone from the local “great and the good”

Really good point, apart from a couple of things @TVKev. Sherwood is a drama set in the modern day. It is nothing to do with the old story of Robin Hood. The role of Sheriff is a real civic position in Nottingham taken up by rotating councillors. It has been occupied by women several times 👍🏻
