Ipswich HS in MA in the State Final Four. Forced to forfeit the game tonight because their seniors graduated this weekend and took this photo which “violated” the states athlete tobacco possession rule. I know a boy on this team, they are all devastated. What are we doing here?

Per a source, a series of Ipswich lacrosse seniors were smoking cigars during a graduation-related celebration, and were therefore unable to play in today's Div. 4 semifinal under the circumstances. The school then made its decision to forfeit. @BosHeraldSports @Murray_Jack_

@JRoche3MR THANK YOU. Guarantee the coach said something about "There will be a lot of temptation and distraction as you wrap up and graduate. Stay focused on the goal." For some reason, the "tradition" or w/e of smoking a cigar became more important to these kids.
