Crimson Desert is absolutely stunning. Really enjoying my time with it so far… The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful and loving the combat already. So glad I got my PC for this.

@HardwareUnboxed Yep I am aware, but still feels worth. For comparison turning rr off and switching to quality mode upscaling adds 10-15fps averaging like 60ish, while the visual quality drops quite noticeably at least in my eyes.

We've tested the game with AMD's 26.3.1 driver (and the day one patch) and found no performance difference compared to the results in this video

@compusemble Quick question, is fsr 4.1 available in any game that supports fsr? Or only the newest / manually updated ones?

FSR 4.1 is based on the same neural network as PSSR 2, per Mark Cerny.

@NikTek Otherwise I get +10 to +15 fps if i turn off RR and go for quality upscaling, but then the visuals feel less good, because of not using RR. So I'll play with RR on I guess.

@NikTek Im running on 3440x1440 with 7800x3d+9070 XT Running perf upscaling with RR on. Getting around 50-60fps on avg. Max settings. Using lossless scaling as a frame gen alternative (in-game one doesn't do the job), which after activating gets me to 100-110 fps which feel like 80ish

Here's the performance tank again when enabling Ray Regeneration in Crimson Desert after updating AMD drivers to the latest Adrenalin 26.3.1 Safe to say that I won't be turning this on for the rest of my gameplay. If you have an AMD GPU how is your performance with Ray Regeneration turned on?
