How it feels to pull a Swedish backpacker that was way out of your league, because you were the only guy staying in her mixed dorm that night

May be misquoting, but one of your / andrew's takes was reading books are a waste of time to making money. What's the point of reinventing the wheel and figuring stuff out yourself when you can learn from other people's experience to do what they did? Experts spend months putting their experience and knowledge into a book. Seems silly to not use that.

This guy is a great example of what NOT to do if you’re going to decide to get married and propose to your girlfriend. If you choose to do what’s easiest for YOU after the person tells you exactly what they want, you don’t really love that person. I see a lot of debate over this and it’s interesting to me. I learned this exact thing from my own life experience. Once upon a time, I loved someone. I did everything that was easy for me, and unconsciously didn’t care to listen, because I was too wrapped up in my own ego at the time and used work and business to justify why I didn’t “care” or “have time to listen.” This thing I didn’t listen to, amongst many other things, was also *jewelry specific.* Your woman will tell you exactly what she wants to make her happy, It’s up to you to listen or not. If you do not care to listen to someone you say you love, you do not love them. Specifically when it comes to the ring she’s going to wear on her hand every day for the rest of her life, this would be a slap in the face to most women. The problem is not the ring or the size of it. It’s if you listen to them. Listening shows you care. Guy in the screenshot is selfish and doesn’t care at all about his girl, identified easily by the attempt at gaslighting her and playing the victim. Now there is something to be said for the women who don’t care what the ring looks like or the size or the price. That’s all well and good. From my experience, women care about this stuff because they’ve fantasized about it their whole life. While lots of people might just say “oh she shouldn’t do that!!” I say that it’s perfectly fine to want nice things, have preferences and get the things that you dream of in this life. I dreamt once upon a time of living the life that I do now. The moral of the story is, if you have a woman and you say you really love her enough to get married, listen to her when she tells you what type of flowers and jewelry she wants. I don’t care if you have to put it in your notes app. It will make your life a lot easier.

This poor dude planned his proposal and she said NO in front of all of their family and friends because the ring was only $900 and came from Walmart. Personally, I think he dodged a bullet.

Never met this fella, but I remember when he was running a basketball training offer out of college. Always seemed like he was having fun. Just enjoying the ride with his friends. Then one day I woke up and he was pulling $100k/m+ It stuck with me because at the time, the twitter meta was about posturing online, while he was one of the few who was just himself. RIP Ben, wish we could've met.
Mason@CardinalMason

We lost one of the greats tonight. Genuinely the most magnetic, talented, charming guy I’ve ever met in my life. Changed thousands of lives in person and online. Nobody in this circle would be who they are without him. One of one. Long Live Ben Bader. Love you brother.

We can run up businesses all day and make a bunch of money But the story of our life we’ll tell our kids will be the moments we spent with the people we care about most. Never get that confused

in general I've noticed americans care less about quality and more about getting things quickly. Aussies clients are quite the opposite in some way. Completely different beast in terms of fullfillment.

The 9-5 lifestyle was the real alpha all along. Start the morning by getting out of the house. Lock into a few hours of deep focus. Socialize with fellow humans when you want a break. Retreat back to your sanctuary after a long day of progress The only reason it feels like a prison is because you're being forced to do it. But have your own autonomy and make your own rules, many of you will eventually come to structure your routine this way again by choice after experiencing the insidious comfort of undisciplined freedom

Turns out you can add a clause in your contracts so your debt collection costs are added ONTOP of the invoice amounts. You get paid full fee, debt collector gets paid his fee, client pays for you both.
Milan@monkeytomilly

PSA: If you have issues with a client not paying - get in contact with a debt collector. They'll handle all the followup / legal jazz to get you paid in exchange for ~20-30% of invoice amount. Such a powerful tool to have in your back pocket
