@tayloramurphy @mattarderne @dltHub Multiple folks yesterday at #PyAI talked about the need for structure. @jlowin called for reasonable software and presented 3 principles, one of them being atomic Python code blocks. This maps to the "modular and composable" @dlthub design principle in my own presentation.

Lots of thoughts about future of open source from some great presentations and conversations at #pyai Things are shifting - wild west style.

Core underlying theme at #pyai presenters and the hallway track is that folks aren't writing code by hand anymore. It's all AI generated. Lots of conversation around excessive 10k code reviews especially for open source maintainers and engineers reviewing vibe code from non engineer sources. Big change clearly that has already been adopted over the last several months. Clearly to me, if you're not using AI coding, the gap is only going to widen.
