@cullenoncurling @RowdiesFaithful That’s good to hear it will be so much fun to see how they grow from year to year. I bet anything those teams will have conversations all year long. And for me because of watching slams, worlds, etc you knew the majority of players and it didn’t long to know who was with who.

@RowdiesFaithful Well that's why the plan is to keep the teams together year over year to build that familiarity, there was never going to be a way to do it where you could remember who was on what team immediately

Still coming down from a great week at Rock League but my thoughts: 1) there were some things that will need to be tweaked for next season but in my view, the two most important things are getting the format right and having the players buy in. Both of those were nailed

@cullenoncurling Loved season 1, the teams chemistry and ability to adapt to one another was great. I really like the mixed 4s and the equal tinge from tv that md received. That should help grow md. Thank you to all of the commentators as well, good job.

To launch that league successfully with 60 of the world’s top curlers, to bring curling back to CBC, to partner with ESPN, etc etc within just two years of acquiring the Slams is actually crazy. I really loved it and look forward to more. How did you enjoy S1?

@ShawnGermain15 @nicsulsky Yes if cheering for a team, and it’s down to the last stones it is as exciting as regular games. partly cause you don’t know how they will react to a different skip and teammates, but also just like in last night maple games all team so into the end of mixed doubles final

First impressions on the rock league. 7 ends is brilliant with the 1 blank rule. Love the fact that you’re invested in all three games at once based on the team you’re cheering for. I think if people give this a chance and pick a team to root for they will really get into this.
