As if Gen Z just “doesn’t want to have kids” Everyone I know wants to have kids, they can’t fucking afford it, and yeah, they’d like a few years to actually realize who they are as a person instead of just a fucking work machine that they’ve been for the last 10 years. The day this affordability crisis is fixed, is the day kids start flying out at light speed And having children, when you are not sure if you can fully take care of their needs, is a stupid and reckless fucking decision no matter how many people say “it’s not about money” Yes, it is about fucking money. It costs money to get them healthcare, it costs money to buy their food, costs money to buy their fucking clothes, it costs money to buy a home in a decent area so they don’t get shot while they’re sleeping. Every fucking thing about them costs money. And when you know you don’t have an ample amount, it’s unwise to bring them into the world. it would be like somebody in the middle ages, having children when they have barely enough food for themselves. It makes no sense, anyone trying to convince us that it makes sense, is making bullshit excuses for the current situation.
