@BillyReinhardt I would not be so sure about that. Teams have been tanking for many years and it seems to me that relatively few become really good teams through tanking.

At last, Brooklyn’s two-year tank is over. Basketball actually matters again. Next up, the NBA Draft Lottery on May 10 and the start of the offseason.

@BontaHill These responders don't seem to remember the reason for the play-in tournamet saying stuff like participation trophy and money grab.

Time to abolish the play-in tournament. Never liked it.

@Jacobtheclipper Maybe you need to do some research on how the AC Green streak was kept alive with similar tactics.

The league is such a joke.. Everything is about breaking random records. Mike Brown put Bridges in the game for 23 seconds so his games played streak continues.. What a mockery to ACTUAL past iron mans like A.C Green 🤦🏻‍♂️

@RickKamlaSports He was a great player but c’mon. Leading up to that draft his impact was assumed to mean titles. I’m sorry, he didn’t live up to it.

@yalltitanup @minakimes She is silent. Not defending herself or other hardworking females in the industry. Not calling out Russini. So should we assume Mina has her own skeletons in the closet to get where she is. The silence is deafening...

@yalltitanup I avoid NFL talk on ESPN and other platforms because it's too much IMO. I don't see her much, but calling her a chick showed why you feel as you do.

@SamQuinnCBS I'd rather have Harper to San Antonio rather than a tanking team

I'm growing increasingly concerned that whatever lottery reform we get isn't going to address what I consider the system's biggest flaw—a lack of protection against enormously consequential outlier outcomes like Orlando winning back to back or San Antonio getting Dylan Harper.

@JSchimenti1982 So how the fuck does making the problem WORSE help anything????? I'm begging you people to use your brain for literally one second. "Hmmm.... we have a problem, should make it worse, or NOT make it worse?"

Flattening lottery odds swaps one problem for another: There's no incentive to make the playoffs as an 8 seed if all lottery teams have a 35% shot at a top 5 pick And that's much worse problem-- if teams are tanking to miss the playoffs, that's a *FAR* worse look the for league

@Betsycashmoney Math tells us that all teams could not have a 35% chance at the top pick. More like 7%. In a 3 team lottery, teams would not even have a 35% chance. With expansion, 6%.

@AshNicoleMoss I don't think the men posting sexist stuff to Ashley about women in sports media are representative of the beliefs of most men. They are the kind of men who can only think of women as objects.

i’m so tired of y’all using these sporadic situations of discretions to push your bullshit narratives about pretty women in sports media spaces. the actions of a few don’t represent the masses. the generalization is sexist — especially since you don’t keep this energy for men.

Nets fans finally getting to where I was last year. Sean Marks is a disaster. If they don’t get a top 4 pick I can no longer be a fan of this trash if Marks is the GM. He should have been fired years ago.

@purehoops35 @SamQuinnCBS KD was better in the playoffs. Harden was injured in the playoffs, but I still think Harden was the regular season MVP on that team.
