@AcquireWisdom

Wisdom is the most important thing, so acquire wisdom, and with all you acquire, acquire understanding. Proverbs 4:7

@NxtLvlBusiness @jaydyer 100% error. The name Jesus or Yeshua in Hebrew even means 'salvation of Jehovah.' At Matthew 4:10 Jesus refuted Satan, quoting Deuteronomy 6:13. Just one of many instances in which Jesus quoted or made reference to the Hebrew scriptures.

@jaydyer YHWH is Lucifer/Satan. The Bible was specifically created in a way to manipulate followers of Jesus & the new commandment from the Father (not YHWH) to worship the god of the Old Testament who is the adversary. YHWH is nothing like God the Father Jesus teaches us about.

In CS Lewis’ A Horse and His Boy, when the Tash worshippers (Muslims) invade Narnia they chant their god is Tashlan, that Aslan is the identical god of their religion. This is the very argument Roman Catholics, Muslims and Jews make a la Nostra Aetate, that the Islamic Allah is the same God of the Bible. When Aslan appears he corrects them that “Tashlan” is a demon. All this nonsense argumentation the last year is actually explicitly refuted in A Horse and His Boy LOL.

@jaydyer ". . . that the Islamic Allah is the same God of the Bible." Why do you hesitate to use his name? It's Jehovah. "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth."—Psalm 83:18, KJV Check out also John 12:28.

@mary_got_grace Sorry, friend. But no, Jesus is the SON of God, and John 1:1 was translated in English—by trinitarians—more than 1,000 years after the church invented the doctrine of the Trinity.

when you go down the rabbit hole far enough you will realize that Jesus Christ is God and that everything evil in this world is an attack on him and his followers because he’s hated by satan

@Nicholas_Bow I admire your zeal, but your understanding of Scripture is superficial. It is necessary to examine the words in question in the original languages, and it is important that the interpretation of any verse harmonizes with the rest of the Bible. Please read: wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp…

Here's ChatGPT final summary of the paper. Note it calls for urgent investigation. In CDC terms that means "keep recommending the shots."

@HealthRanger First you have to understand that not all who receive God's favorable judgment go to heaven. Many more will live on Earth than go to heaven. If you can't understand that biblical truth, you will never understand the answer to your question.

@HealthRanger I can answer your question—if you really want an answer. But I'm not going to spend time posting it here until I'm convinced you want to hear it.

I still haven't received a satisfactory answer on this rather obvious question from any Christian (follower, pastor, educator, etc.) Here's the question: If knowing Christ is the ONLY way to get to Heaven, as nearly all Christians currently believe, then what happened to all the people who lived on Earth before Christ was born? That would include literally every person in the Old Testament, plus Meso-Americans, ancient Chinese, Indians, Amazonian tribes, indigenous people all over the world, etc. Do Christians actually believe all those people were sent to Hell by God even if they were GOOD people who lived in alignment with God's teachings? Did Noah go to Hell because he lived long before Christ existed? Did Abraham go to Hell? David? Jeremiah? Moses? You get the idea. I have yet to hear a serious answer from any Christian on this simple question, and I think I know why. Mostly I get attacked by Christians for daring to ask questions about the "rules" of Christianity. But if God gave us rules, shouldn't we seek to understand how those rules work and what they mean? (The answer from most Christians, so far, is "Shut up and stop asking questions and stop trying to have it make any sense," which is not a serious answer.) There's no question Paul would agree with me that we are right to seek to understand how God's rules work, and explanations of those rules should make sense and not be self-contradictory. If your religion is based on a series of contradictions that don't add up and aren't allowed to be questioned for clarification, then you've got a real problem.

PLEASE PRAY There is a Kingdom Hall less than 2 miles from the church where I am an elder. I have been praying for an opportunity to go and witness there. Sounds crazy, right? Today, I got a personal invitation in the mail. @TheNathanBurris and I are planning to go to the Kingdom Hall near our church on Saturday at 7:30 PM and then to another one on the other side of the county at 9:30 PM. I have been specifically praying for the opportunity to share the gospel inside the one near Sophia. It looks like our Lord is answering my prayer. I am asking everyone to commit to praying for Nathan and me that we will honor our Master and lovingly call those trapped in the cult of Jehovah’s Witnesses to repent and believe the gospel.

@sportsman1968 I 𝙬𝙖𝙨 offended. It took a good deal of restraint to not say what I really wanted to say. And I learned the truths of God's word long before 1988. Your attitude and perspective could use some adjusting.
