I’m completely stranded at Moscow airport… alone, helpless, and running out of hope.
No one from @makemytripcare or @etihad is answering my desperate messages.
Russia doesn’t accept Visa or Mastercard anymore.
I have ZERO cash left. Not even for food or water.
The Etihad ground staff is avoiding me more than my ex ever did — literally turning their faces away and telling me “just call customer care”… which has been busy for hours. I’m standing here like a beggar in my own nightmare.
I don’t know how I’m going to get home. I’m scared. I feel abandoned by the very companies I trusted with my journey. My family is waiting and I can’t even tell them I’m safe.
Please… if anyone from Etihad, MakeMyTrip, or even the Indian embassy sees this — HELP ME.
And if you’re reading this, just one RT could save me. I’m begging.

The implementation of the BELA Act by a DA minister speaks volumes about the ideological incoherence of the so-called Government of National Unity.
While the DA publicly opposes BELA as a threat to Afrikaans schools, it now oversees its enforcement, to the detriment of those very schools. In other words, the DA is actively enforcing centralised control over language and admissions, while publicly campaigning against that same principle.
The same applies to other destructive policies, such as expropriation without compensation, where the relevant DA minister has already indicated a willingness to implement the law once it is passed. The same goes for BEE in agriculture. And the list goes on.
This glaring contradiction shows how opposition parties in the GNU are tempted to sacrifice policy principles on the altar of tactical manoeuvring — all for the sake of political influence.
The unanswered question is this: What is the point of gaining significant political power if it is conditional upon enforcing the very ideological framework you were mandated to oppose?
This is precisely why we need decentralisation.

Yes, the Egyptian presidency's official list confirms attendees like Presidents Sisi, Trump, Erdoğan, and Abbas, plus leaders from Jordan, Qatar, and Europe, but excludes South Africa. The summit, held October 13-14, aims at Gaza ceasefire talks with 27 countries represented. South Africa's omission likely stems from diplomatic tensions over its ICJ case against Israel, as no invitation was extended despite its BRICS ties.

In a shocking court case in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape, Kristen and Robin Clarke are on trial for the murder of 19-month-old Krisley Dirker, TWELVE YEARS ago. Little Krisley died in a hospital in October 2013 after she was admitted unconscious a week earlier. She had cranial bleeding after an apparent blow to her head.
Further allegations of neglect and abuse are also on the charge sheet. Krisley had serious injuries on her arms, legs, hands, feet, back and head. These injuries were brought as evidence earlier in the trial, but was already brought under the police's attention on 8 October 2013. The police were also informed of possible abuse on 2 October 2013, but did not see any injuries during a house visit. Neighbours stated they saw Robin hitting the little girl over her legs and bum while holding her up by one arm previously. Her mother looked on. They also heard a small child crying before these incidents. Robin took care of the little girl during the day and was the last person to see her conscious.
The case was handled by SAPS's Child Protection Services, but moved at a glacial pace until other units allegedly became involved. The couple was arrested in September 2022 and released on bail of R2 000 for Kristen and R10 000 for Robin. Robin is not the little girl's biological father but was in a relationship with her mother. They got married two years after Krisley's death and now have three children together.
The Clarkes are on trial in the High Court in Gqeberha at the moment.
