This level of cultural currency is something the old Republican Party didn’t have.

NYTimes didn't mention that Newsom asked the Native American tribe to donate huge money to his wife's charity JUST AFTER he used his office to block its rival tribe from opening a competing casino. Details on that here -- freebeacon.com/california/cor…

Several people associated with the Newsoms have been contacted by federal agents in the past week, according to the governor’s office. Mr. Newsom’s aides believe the agents have also subpoenaed banking records, but said they had seen no written evidence of that. nytimes.com/2026/06/15/us/…

@Lib_Development @sailaunderscore Very familiar with Hyde park but my point is about UChicago specifically, which spends millions of dollars a year to have its own private security to keep out uh, teenagers

@janetjenkins52 @PatrickRuffini Your entire personality revolves around sports and being a liberal. You can keep posting pictures of other people because you’re unhappy with your life, but that won’t change your outcome

@ScottMGreer That’s what happens when you’re taught and culturally reinforced that MLK is a founding father

Never forget that if Kamala had won our 250th anniversary would’ve been a year long lecture from slightly off-White corpo girl bosses and gay black women

@jlippincott Health insurance = premiums have to fund certain groups degeneracy Once you notice it, there’s no other way of viewing American society

@jlippincott How much of our taxes (and cost of living) is a direct result of an increasingly diverse society? Real Estate = avoid certain groups Cars = be safe from certain groups on the road Insurance = insure against certain groups Taxes = fund certain groups lifestyles

The reason couples choose dual income is because it *is* economically viable. Couples make the tradeoff because they would rather provide materially for their kids instead of going on welfare or accepting a lower standard of living. It sucks but it is what it is. High taxes on young people (Medicare, Social Security, income, property, sales, etc.) are a huge driving force here. Want more moms in the home? Stop seizing 25-35% of dad's paycheck. Many of these taxes are invisible, too, which makes the effects harder to see. If you rent, you pay property taxes indirectly--and higher than what homeowners owe! Same for your employer's payroll tax share.
Bennett's Phylactery@extradeadjcb

An obscure academic wrote a book in 2004 about how dual income households are a scam & the vast majority of women simply aren't economically productive enough to justify outsourcing childcare, even in dystopian government warehouses
