Europe is such a culturally and historically rich and beautiful continent that none of these options are bad.
A fortnight in any section would offer a great holiday but crucially even within them there is huge diversity of culture and experience depending on preferences.

Compare to baseball, cricket, American football, hockey... you need more ppl, equipment, "stuff" to get something resembling a game

You cluld argue the reason it’s so popular in Africa is because almost every African country was tuled by European ones at some point, but that argument falls apart when you consider that the most popular sport in Asia is ALSO soccer. That makes it the most popular sport in Europe, Africa AND Asia. Which you COULD argue that many Asian countries were ruled by European countries, but all of that makes a lot less sense when you realize that Japan was never ruled by any European OR any nation in the Western hemisphere, yet their favorite sport is Baseball. When you look through all data and research, it starts to show this- countries like certain sports for different reasons. 🤷♂️
