Protestors clashed outside the @LASchools admin office earlier today. @LAPDHQ declared an unlawful assembly and pushed the groups back, making some arrests along the way. The demonstration was due to a proposed policy by @LASchools to alert parents, if a school employee discovers that a student identifies as any other gender besides the one given at birth. Similar protests have been held around the #LosAngeles area for similar school policies.

✈️ #Aviation 3 individuals walked away with minor injuries after an emergency landing in #Riverside yesterday. It is unclear why the plane went down, a nearby resident says they heard the planes engine start and stop multiple times before hitting the ground. @NTSB is investigating.

🐣 Ducklings Rescued From Freeway in #ThousandOaks. @CHPMoorpark rescued 10 ducklings off the side of the 101 @ Ventu Park this afternoon. CHP waited in the area for the mother to return, but after no sign, the ducklings were taken by LA County Animal Services.
