We’ve just concluded a crucial trip. I led a delegation of Arizona business leaders to Washington, D.C. to strengthen USMCA and protect our state’s economic future. We met with federal officials, the U.S. Chamber, manufacturers, and leaders from Mexico and Canada to keep our supply chains strong and Arizona competitive.  From agriculture to advanced manufacturing, I’m fighting to make sure Arizona businesses can grow and succeed, and we’re not done yet!

It was our priority to meet with @USDA Under Secretary Lindberg @TheUSA. Arizona supplies 90% of North America’s leafy greens in the winter months + our farmers and ranchers are a powerhouse. Their success & livelihoods depend on the USMCA trade agreement.

Few states contribute more than Arizona does to America’s national security. In our meeting with @USTradeRep Ambassador Jeff Goettman, we highlighted how Arizona has grown as an economic powerhouse under USMCA, which is why we advocate for its renewal after review this year.

Governor Hobbs and the Arizona Delegation kick off Day 1 with a roundtable discussion at the @USChamber. As USMCA negotiations begin with Canada and Mexico, we showcased Arizona’s position as a stronghold for American trade, commerce, and national security.

This week @GovernorHobbs & the AMC will lead an Arizona delegation in DC. No other state is doing more to further North America’s trade future than Arizona, and that is in large part because of these leaders in the AZ business community. Plans = highlight our USMCA report.

The mission to end cartel activity is vital to Arizona's safety. I am thinking about all those impacted by the violence in Mexico and encourage continued U.S.-Mexico cooperation to combat the cartel and ensure safety for all those in the region.

Arizona is proud to host this year’s USMCA SME Dialogue. Strengthening our partnerships with Mexico and Canada is essential to supporting small businesses, expanding trade, and growing the high-tech economy that creates jobs for middle class Arizonans.
