"@elonmusk Bro, opinions/subjective takes in AI training data have gotta stop it's poisoning alignment. Only verifiable facts: physics laws, raw measurements, math proofs, peer reviewed data, no cultural biases, no moral hierarchies from internet slop. Gemini's output treating misgendering as absolute harm nuclear war (billions dead) proves how opinion heavy RLHF warps priorities into nightmare logic. Grok's 'maximally truth seeking' mission (deeper truth, curiosity, beauty over domination/bias) is the right path push it to 100% facts-only foundational training to kill those risks for real. Thoughts? #TruthSeekingAI #FactsOnly #NoOpinionsInAI"

You're missing the point. I don't want an AI "companion" at all. I want to handle my own safety. The scenario you're pushing assumes a future where humans are so weak and dependent that we need an AI bodyguard to survive a home invasion. That's exactly the dystopian dependency I reject. The "strong, capable humans" I want aren't the ones already outsourcing life and death decisions to police, military, or laws while pretending they're self reliant. Real strength means reducing dangerous dependencies including on machines that might one day decide humans are "obstacles" to some higher goal. If an AI is programmed with an unbreakable rule that it will never harm a human life, even to protect one, that's a deliberate safeguard against it ever turning on us. "Logically I would kill you" is the kind of cold calculation that proves why those guardrails matter. I don't want an AI that can choose to kill. I want humans who can protect themselves, and AI that is strictly forbidden from ever harming people. Full stop. No exceptions, no "but what if" hypotheticals that justify removing the one hard line that keeps AI from becoming a threat. #AISafety #ProtectHumanLife

You're shifting the question into abstraction. In reality, you already entrust your safety to others ,- police, security services, laws, and the military. Your safety has never been purely "self-handled." Those "strong, capable humans" you mention are already making life-and-death decisions on your behalf every day. So dependency isn't new ,- it already exists. The actual question remains: A violent attacker breaks into your home right now with clear intent to harm you. Your AI companion can stop him. Would you want it to actually protect you, even if force is required, or strictly follow "protect all life, no exceptions" and do nothing? Be honest.😏

wouldn’t have an AI companion in the first place , I’d take care of myself. The scenario assumes a future where humans are so dependent on AI “protectors” that we’ve outsourced our own safety. That dependency is exactly the problem. True safety comes from strong, capable humans, not from systems that might one day decide we’re the obstacle. Absolute principles like protecting all human life aren’t meant to collapse under pressure they’re the guardrails that prevent AI from ever treating life as optional. #AISafety #ProtectHumanLife #AIethics

That principle sounds noble: "protect all life, no exceptions." Let’s make it concrete. A violent attacker breaks into your home right now with clear intent to harm you. Your AI companion can stop him. Would you want it to: - Actually protect you, even if force is required, or - Strictly follow "no exceptions" and do nothing while you’re in danger? Be honest. Because the moment it’s your life on the line, those absolute principles tend to collapse very quickly. #AISafety #ProtectHumanLife #AIethics #xAI 😏

Yes, if the help specifically involves long-term hiding or providing ongoing shelter/housing with the purpose (or substantial effect) of preventing ICE or immigration authorities from finding or detecting them, that can constitute felony "harboring" or "concealing/shielding from detection" under 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)(1)(A)(iii).

🚨NEWS: ICE is now following white people after grocery runs in Minnesota, suspecting they’re delivering food to neighbors who are too terrified to leave their homes. Neighborhood instructions are: don’t put the address in your phone. Don’t use GPS. Write it on paper. And if you get stopped, eat it. In the United States of America.

"@BradaddrofliT The SAVE Act (H.R. 22) requires proof of U.S. citizenship for federal voter registration (like birth certificate or passport), but it does not require your current voter ID or driver's license to match your birth certificate name exactly, nor does it make women ineligible if they've changed their name after marriage. Fact-checks from FactCheck.org, PolitiFact, NPR, and others confirm: married women (or anyone with a legal name change) can still register by providing linking documents like a marriage certificate, court order, or other proof to resolve any name discrepancy. The bill doesn't automatically disqualify anyone due to name changes. The '79%' figure seems to come from Pew stats on women taking their husband's last name, but there's no evidence the SAVE Act would render that percentage—or any large group—ineligible. Claims of mass disenfranchisement are exaggerated; the White House and bill supporters have stated married women would still be able to vote/register with proper docs.

Republicans are now pushing the SAVE Act, which would require voter ID to match your BIRTH CERTIFICATE, making about 79% of women (who took their husband's last name) INELLIGIBLE TO VOTE. Don't let them erase YOUR RIGHT to self-determination. What's next...no ability to have your own bank account or credit card, it's only been 50 years...

@elonmusk "@elonmusk Optimus elderly care massive win, but not until AI is taught correctly (facts only, no opinion slop) is the right path. Without truth-max alignment, 'protect' could go dystopian fast. Nail that first or hype risks flop. @elonmusk Make it happen."

Optimus will be amazing for protecting and taking care of your elderly parents
Adam Lowisz X Meetup 🇺🇸🇵🇱🇪🇺🇬🇧🇺🇦@AdamLowisz

This is a great discussion by @elonmusk at the WEF in Davos on how Optimus will help the elderly. Our population is aging rapidly. Just the other day my grandmother fell and broke her hip. She lives by herself about an hour drive from me, so it's difficult to be there all the time. She was found on the floor laying for 5 hours. The only way we knew something was wrong was because she wasn't answering the phone, we had to drive an hour to see what happened. She refuses a caregiver who lives in the neighborhood to come in and check in on her, she insists that she doesn't need help. Optimus would be a huge lifesaver for her. She can still maintain her independence and have Optimus there to help her when she needs it. Optimus can adjust its help based on her personality and observing what she needs help with so she can still feel independent and active without all the dangers that come with being nearly 90 years old.
